Clove's POV

I hate wearing dresses.

If it wasn't because of the interview, I won't be wearing this. But I need to look pleasing.
Glimmer was the first one to get on stage. She walks bubbly. She looks cute. But only this time. I still despised her.

While waiting for our turn, I had managed to talk to Marvel. District 1, Luxury. They know how to please people. They're just like the people from the Capitol, but without excessive make ups and silly dresses.

Then Marvel was called to get on stage. He walked confidently and manages to have a fun interview with Caesar. Yes, he's really fun to talk with.

"Nervous?" asked Cato.

"No. Why would I be?"

"You're indeed Clove Kentwell."

I smiled.

Then it was my time, I was called to get on stage. I walked naturally as I can, the dress and shoes are killing me. I heard applauses. I need to please this crowd.

The interview went swiftly. Then it was Cato's turn. He's one of the crowds favorite. He's undeniably handsome & muscular. Who won't even fall for this guy?

Me! I won't. This is a competition. I've been waiting for this to happen.

"We're just curious if you already have a special girl back in your district, those lovely ladies been dying to know." some audience went giggling.

Cato's smile makes them more mad. Madly in love with him.

"I won't tell cause she doesn't even know." said Cato.

"If given a chance, will you introduced her to us when you become a victor?" asked Caesar.

"It doesn't matter if I don't make it, I just wanted her to know that I love her before I die."

'Awws' could be heard from the audience. This guy is really getting the attention. I'll make my move soon.
