Chapter 25:
Avril's **POV**
'Just go for it. Do it, just don't make it a big deal.' My mid told me over and over. It happened so quickly. I lent in and kissed him. Small and simple. I pull away. Fuck I've wrecked it all. He looks so shocked no no no. I ran off back to the couch where Luke(H) was still sitting, watching the movie.
"What's up with you." He asked, attention on the tv.
"Just a little tired." I mumbled resting me head on his shoulder.
"You seem flustered."
"Just tire lukey, just tired." I repeated. Thankfully he continued to keep his attention on the tv, and didn't see the tear fall from my cheek.
About 10 minutes later Luke(M) walked back in. I saw him look around awkwardly before sitting on the couch next to Luke. I let out a sigh and just sat there wondering to myself why I had to go and ruin that? Because you ruin everything. That's why.
I needed a moment. I couldn't be around people. I got up and walked to the kitchen. I grabbed out a large spoon that was drying as I passed the sink and made my way over to the freezer. I opened it and pulled out my tub of ice-cream. Choc-caramel. Fucking sex in your mouth ice-cream. I sat there at the bench shoving mouthful after mouthful in.
"We'll I'm going to be quick in telling you this because I don't know how much time I have. So I don't know what happened but talk." Luke(H) said walking upto me.
"But-"
"No!" He cut me off taking my spoon. "Talk!" I stood there shocked as he walked off licking the spoon.
"Nice ice-cream too." He said tossing me the spoon. I sighed and went back to my ice-cream. I could talk about this with Luke. It would be to awkward where would I start? I thought to myself, examining the scoop of ice-cream I had just taken and shoved it in my mouth. I let a strange noise escape my mouth. I just gave up. Lying face down across the bench.
"You no I find it rather rude that you didn't offer me any ice-cream." I heard someone say.
"No" I tried say through my mouthful of ice-cream, but it didn't really work.
"Could we maybe talk?" I life's my head to see Luke(M) standing next to the bench.
"Go for it." I sighed climbing onto a chair.
"Ok I'm sorry I haven't really thought this through." He said sitting I the chair next to me.
"That's ok." I said passing him the spoon and tub of ice-cream.
"How about I start. I didn't really think that through and well I had been wondering about what would happen for a while now." I said taking another scoop of ice-cream after Luke did.
"I can honesty say the same thing." He agreed.
"So....where does that put us?" I asked passing the spoon again.
"Not to sure." This was followed by an awkward silence and the spoon being passed a few more times.
"What about this. What did you think of the kiss. Like was it good or bad?" He asked.
"I don't really no." I mumbled awkwardly.
"You?"
"Um it was ok I guess. How about on the count of 3 we say truthfully what we thought? So ether good or bad" He suggested. I nodded in response.
"1, 2, 3" I counted.
"Bad" We both said in sync.
"So....then...this is nothing?" I asked.
"Yeah I guess. We forget that it happened. Agreed?" He asked.
"Agreed" I nodded shaking his hand.
"So then.....is like still watching the movie?" I asked breaking the silence.
"Nah he as asleep before I came in here."
"You wanna maybe watch another movie?" I suggested.
"Definitely" He laughed. I grabbed an other spoon and head out to the lounge room.
We got there to find Luke packing up all his things.
"Where are you going mate?" Luke asked him.
"Im just a little tired so I'm gonna head home. I'll see you at school tomorrow av." He said coming up and hugging me. I heard a faint bye Luke to as the front door shut.
"Then there were 2" Luke laughed. I just shoved him playfully out my way and quickly swapped the disks over, placing Aladdin into the DVD player and jumped back on to the couch with Luke. I rested my head on his chest and he wrapped his arms around me tightly, causing me to just snuggle in closer. This is what we were no name for it, just this.The movie finished we decided to watch the 2nd, then the 3rd and well by that time it was 8pm and I was getting tired. Luke decided to head off home leaving me waiting for the girls. Eventually I just got I sleepy and headed to bed, preparing for the horror that I would face tomorrow.
Brooklyn and my secret. 7 hours later an its 3am and I'm sitting at my window staring out at the black, inky sky. The street lights glowing like fallen stars, giving off little light. My warm breath fogs up the cold window as I watch the rain fall. I just sit there watching it, listening to it. Admirering its freedom.

So I wasn't meant to update till friday due to a few things, but I thought that I'd give you's an update in honor of the incredible thing that happened tonight. My friend Emma and I started a hashtag on twitter (#FortuneCookieHottie #ForeverEndsHereFollowUs) and ended up getting forever ends here to follow us both!!!
