Hi! well, it's been a while hasn't it?

I no, I no and I'm a horrible person, I am in sorry.

I'm gonna try writing but I'm a little busy with exams and stuff at the moment.

Chapter 27: Purple

Michaels **POV**

We were just standing around chatting, the guys and I. No one mentioning the past events of the weekend, but that didn't stop me from thinking about them. After I left Lukes on Friday I went to see Brooklyn. She assured me that it was all just an 'accident' but to be honest I wasn't so sure I believed her anymore. The rest of the weekend after that was spent in my room thinking. Thinking about Brooklyn, thinking about Avril, thinking about my position with the boys now.

I didn't no what to do, it was just so awkward. I mean she's so beautiful, but then I already have Brooklyn and she has that Travis guy back in Melbourne. Why does life have to be such a pain?

I heard a very familiar laugh bringing me out of my trans. I looked up to see Brooklyn and her friends. I followed their gaze to a very familiar car. The boys noticed this to and walked over. Luke opened the door and lifted Avril out, pulling her into a hug. Calum and Ashton joined in too, surprisingly I found myself following. When we pulled away the first thing I noticed was Avril's hair. Her distinctive pink and brown waves were gone and were replaced with purple ones that had been pulled in to a side braid.

"Wow when did this happen?" Cal asked examining it between his fingers.

"Ahhh yesterday." She answered looking at Luke. I noticed he gave her a little nod.

"Why'd you change it?" Ash asked.

"I don't no ash. I guess I just grew tiered of the pink. Am I not aloud to change it?"

"No no no of course you can, I was just wondering." He responded quickly.

"Well I think it looks amazing on you." I said finally speaking up. She might have Travis but I can still compliment her....can't I?

"Really? Naw thanks Mikey." She said a massive smile making its way onto her face. She reached over and pulled me into a hug. I felt my cheeks redden at the sudden action.

"Alright well we should head off or else we are going to be late for class." Ash spoke up. Av pulled away and grabbed her bag, placing it on her shoulder, slipping her hand into mine straight after. I noticed she did the same with Luke too.

Avril's **POV**

The boys and I walked in to school together, eventually I had to leave them to got to my locker. I had noticed the the boys had been acting a little weird around Mikey but I was determined to not let it get to me. Once I had finally made my way through the crowds and got to my locker, I met up with the girls, where we worked out what subjects we had first. Sadly I had math with Tahlia and Taylor. Oh well but to make up for it I had English after first break and finally music.

I slipped into homeroom to find that the guys weren't there yet. I took my usual seat with the girls. My eyes were glued to the door all through homeroom. Where were the boys? They had missed homeroom...

I saw people begin to move around me I quickly picked up my books and headed right for the door. I made it to math quick enough to score a seat to myself, away from Tahlia and Taylor. I just kept my head down all class and just tried to get all my work done. After what seemed like forever the bell finally rang to signal recess. I ran out of the room only to run straight into someone. Surprise surprise it was Luke.

"Why hello there my little purple penguin!" He greeted cheerfully.

"Someone's in a good mood aren't they." I laugh messing with his hair.

"I am, now let go for lunch." He said pulling me along.
