Avril's **POV**

"Hi" I whispered.

"Hi" he responded.

"Um shouldn't you be in school right now?" I asked Luke realizing that the school day wasn't officially over yet. "Mmm and you should too." He added.

"Touché"

"Haha nah I'm just taking some time off school." He said.

"Or in other words you can't be stuffed going." I pointed out.

"Pretty much" He said. I felt myself grin.

"Now your shot." He said getting serious.

"It's nothing I just....you no it school" I said wanting to avoid this whole conversation.

"Av, I have known you for years now. And although I haven't seen or spoken to you for a while, I do still remember you and your weird ways. And I do still remember, that when something is really wrong or you just needed to get away from everything, you would go and climb a tree. Now I want you to take a deep breath tell me what happened." Luke said coming over to me. He maneuvered his way next to me and looked straight at me. His beautiful big eyes, the cheeky smile that was always there no matter the situation and the signature fluffy hairs hitch had actually been toned down to a brown.

"The girls and I were heading over to the tables with the guys for lunch.

Then this girl, Brooklyn came up to us." I started. Luke let out a groan at the sound of Brooklyn. I had to laugh.

"You no her?" I asked

"Yeah she tends to hang off Michael a lot, so yeah." He explained.

"Ok well Michael had his arm around me by when she started approaching us his arm dropped. She 'pranced' up to us and said the she had been looking for Michael every where, and Luke was making funny faces so naturally I laughed. This seemed to get Michael's attention and he introduced the girls and I to her. When he said my name though he pulled me into a hug. She seemed to get defensive or something and all the guys but Michael noticed and they all came over as to protect me. Then she stepped forward and 'tripped' and spilt her drink all over me, and as she fell she grabbed my hair and pull me down with her. It was funny though cause the guys helped me up but left her there. So she called out for Michael and he was all just like 'Oh right' and helped her up." I laughed.

"See that wasn't that bad." Luke said hugging me. I felt tears full my eyes again.

"That's not it though." I said so softly I couldn't even hear it. He pulled me closer, into his side.

"She began walking towards me and just looked me in the eyes. and she said to me 'stay away from him, cause I can make your life here hell, just like it was back in Melbourne.' Then she just walked off." I explained. Luke pulled me into a tight hug.

"She won't. We wont let her. I won't let her." He whispered looked down at me. He wiped the tears from my cheeks.

"I just don't get it. How the fuck does she no about Melbourne? How does she no about everything that's happened to me?" I cried.

"I don't no but I promise I'll find out for you. And when I do, I'll make sure no one else does." He said linking his pinky with mine.

"I love you Luke, your the best." I whispered.

"I love you too Av." He whispered kissing my cheek.

Luke.M's **POV**

How the fuck does that bitch no about Avril's past. Fuck screw it I'm going to kill Michael. We told him Brooklyn's bad news but of course he wouldn't listen.

"I don't no but I promise I'll find out for you. And when I do, I'll make sure no one else does." I told Avril linking my pinky with hers. Now that I didn't have school this is what I was gonna do. When ever I had spear time I was gonna use it to find out how Brooklyn no's about Avril.

"I love you Luke, your the best." Avril whispered resting her head on my shoulder.

"I love you too Av." I whispered back lightly kissing her cheek.
