Avril's **POV**
Recess was ordinary, but still awkward none the less. We were sat under our usual tree just talking. I was lying on Luke whilst he was discussing concert venues with Kiera. Jordan and Calum were playing guess the song, while ash and Tahlia were being all cute and coupley. I looked up and noticed Michael sitting there like an awkward duck, so I decided to shift around and lay on him instead.
"What are you doing?" He asked shocked.
"I don't no trying to get comfortable?" I said shutting my eyes.
"And lukes not good enough?" Now he was just starting to sound rude.
"Between you and me he's legs are a little uncomfortable." I sighed.
"Unlike you, I could lay here forever." Crap. Ok that wasn't meant to have slipped out. I opened my eyes slowly, not wanting to see Michael's expression. The only emotion he wore was a sly smile. "Go ahead." He replied taking me somewhat by surprise. I felt a smile creep across my lips.
Recess continued with nothing but the topics of discussion changing every now and then. The bell went off, signaling the final class of the day was finally upon us, music.
The boys and I walked to music class together. They were called over by the teacher once again so I took the chance to slip away into one of the empty rooms. I picked up a guitar and pondered for a moment searching my brain for a song to play. I settled on a new song that I had I only recently learnt. Fresh Start Fever by You Me At Six .
