Chapter 18: 3 Calls

Luke.M's **POV**

I just stood there in shock, letting the words sink in.

One of the most important people to me, my best friend is upstairs right now, in my bed, unresponsive. All because of Michael's girlfriend.

I felt someone's hand touch my arm.

"C'mon Luke." Cal said as the others headed off into the kitchen. We all sat down around the table silently.

"Were was she?" Luke spoke up. His voice sounded dry and his eyes were a little red.

"I found her in the park, siting up in a tree." I said looking down at my hands.

"Did she tell you what happened?" He asked.

"Yeah she explained it to me."

"Did she say what made her run, because she kind of I don't no freaked out and ran" Ash spoke up. I nodded remembering.

"So how did you find her?" Mav asked.

"I was walking back past the park and I heard her signing. I looked up and saw her in the tree. I knew something was wrong right away because she used to do it back in Melbourne. So I climbed up and she explained it to me, then Kane call and said that I had to head back so I told her to come with me, because well there was no way I was leaving her alone at the park the way she was. Then we were just chillin here, I made some food and her phone went off so she went to get it and half way back she just collapsed. I think she just had a panic attack or something I don't no. Apparently they began after we moved away." I said softly.

"So something in her phone triggered it?" Luke asked.

"Not just something...it was this" I said sliding him her phone.

I saw his expression change as he read the message.

"I will actually kill her" he said through his gritted teeth.

"Well we don't no for sure whether or not this is actually from Brooklyn." Ash said. We all just turned to him.

"Sorry just ignore that previous comment." He said awkwardly.

"That would be the sensible thing to do." Cal mumbled.

"I don't get it though what's the 'little secret'? She hasn't told any of you's?" Luke asked us. We all responded with some form of a no.

"We'll what ever it is, it must be pretty big for her to act like this." Luke added.

"Can we see how she's going?" Cal asked.

"Yeah let's go." Kane said standing.

Everyone headed towards the stairs. I didn't follow them I just stayed seated.

"Hey, you ok?" Some one asked. I looked up to see Luke standing there.

"I don't no. I guess, well she's like my sister, and I just got her back. I'm worried I'm gonna lose her again." I confessed.

"Hey, we're all worried. I've only known her for like a week and were already really close,"

"Luke" I said looking him dead in the eyes.

"Yeah?"

"If your falling for her I will kill you." I said with no emotion.

"You don't have to worry, I already have my eyes on a certain girl." I gave him a puzzling look.

"She one of av's friends...Kiera" he said quietly.

"So long as you don't hurt Avril, I'm happy."
