Chapter 26: Shorts

Avril's **POV**

I woke up to my alarm 'Red In Tooth & Claw' by Memphis May Fire. I sighed sitting up, light seeping in through my curtains proving that it was time to get up. I reached over to my bed side table, grabbing a hair tie. I did my best to tie my hair up, but their was still pain. I climbed out of bed, the carpet leaving a cool touch on my feet, but still it was a rather warm morning. I made my way to the kitchen trying not to let the thoughts about later get to me.

"Morning!" Tahlia greeted cheerfully.

"Hey" I replied faking a smile.

"Where are the others?" I asked searching the cupboards for food.

"Right here." I heard Jord answer. I turned around to find both Jord and Kiera sitting at the bench. I made my self some coco-pops and sat there listening to the girls talk as I ate. I quickly finished eating and ran upstairs to finish getting ready. It pulled out my school dress and began putting it on before remembering that it was Monday and on Mondays we could wear casual to school. I paused for a moment thinking about what I could wear. It was warm outside but still opted for my favorite pair of skinny black ripped jeans, and paired it with a purple Of Mice & Men tank-top. I pulled my hair into a side plate leaving my fringe out. I quickly put on a little eyeliner and mascara before grabbing my phone and Chuck Taylor's and headed downstairs.

"You are kidding me right?!" I heard Tahlia exclaim as I entered the kitchen.

"Um sorry?"

"Your wearing jeans?! Today?! It's like a gazillion degrees out there!" I took a moment to see that she was wearing light blue shorts matched with a plain light blue T-shirt.

"Calm down talz she's wearing what she feels comfortable in, also it's currently 25 degrees out side to be exact." Kiera said examining the contents of the fridge. She had on a mint green dress with a brown belt around the middle.

"Plus Jordan will be happy that she's not the only on wearing jeans today." She added.

"Speak of Jord is she ready yet?Were running late." I added.

"Calm your zebras I'm here." Tahlia burst out laughing as Jord walked in.

"What's so funny?" She asked confused.

"Tahlia called Avril crazy because she's wearing jeans today but I backed her up by saying you would to and well yeah." Kiera said gesturing to Jordan who was wearing shorts.

"We'll now that's all good were going to be late so... lets go" Tahlia said grabbing here bag with the rest of us following. The drive was quick and consisted of us singing.

I pulled into the first empty spot I saw. I stayed in the car a little longer Letting the girls head off the their lockers early. I heard a laugh from my left and looked over to see Brooklyn and her group looking directly at me.

"Hey." I heard from beside me. I looked away to see Luke, Calum, Ashton and a very awkward looking Michael. Luke open the door and pulled my up into a hug. I shut my eyes repeating to myself, 'don't let her get to you, don't let her get to you.'

"She not worth worrying over you have the guys and me don't worry." He whispered to me. I nodded into his shoulder, feeling 3 more sets of arms wrap around me. I forgot about Brooklyn for a moment there and just thought about the boys and the girls and how happy they all made me, and how it might just be ok.

Sup people! This is just a quick update on my life and this story.

Please don't kill me, I no I haven't updated in ages but I have been busy not only with homework but bands.

Jack motherfucking Barrakat wore my birthday tiara!!!!!

Ok now that's all out, as many of you no the other weekend was not only my birthday but the Melbourne All Time Low concert. A few days before I also found out that I had gotten in to the meet and greet and let me tell you something, they are the nicest people you will ever meet! And the concert was amazing. During weightless I decide to throw my birthday tiara to Jack and he picked it up and wore it.

Also for all you Forever Ends Here fans yes, lukes hair really is as fluffy as it looks. I also got to meet FEH when they were in Melbourne the other week and I got to touch lukes hair, the are the funniest group of guys ever and put on a great show.

I'm gonna try my best to regulate chapters for you all, xxx
