I was happy to know he was okay. He was out of the hospital, thank god.
I looked at him, waiting for him to talk. I was still mad at him, well more like disappointed. He doubted me?
"Why are you here?" I asked when I realized he wasn't going to talk.
He shrugged, "Maybe because you're mad at me."
It was my time to shrug.
I pulled off my coat and threw on to my bed.
Deciding to avoid him, I walked past him and pulled out some leftovers from the fridge.
"I'm sorry."
"For what?" I asked.
He stood there in silence.
"I'm tired, you should go," I said, holding back my tears.
He doesn't even know what he's apologizing for.
"You don't believe me. It's fine, I'll get over it," I said.
"I'm sorry about that."
"Sorry that you don't believe me?" I asked, surprised.
He nodded, "Jaxon has never lied to me and I'm not saying that you pushed him on purpose, It might have been an accident."
"I wouldn't lie to you! Justin, just-ugh, just get out, please."
"Are you breaking up with me?" he asked, concern clear in him voice.
"Probably, what is a relationship without trust anyways?" I snapped, "I thought we were better than this. But honestly, I feel bad for you! Jaxon is lying to you and when you find out, don't come running to me."
"Why would he lie? Besides, why would you yell at him? He's just a kid and I'm a bit over protective about him."
"A bit?" I scoffed.
"I think you're jealous of him," he said.
What? He can't be serious, he is being so childish! And a bit too protective.
"Just leave!" I was angry alright.
He scoffed, "you are, aren't you?"
"No, I'm just fucking pissed! You don't even what you're going on about! What drugs are you exactly on? Huh? Just get the fuck out of here!"
I sighed when he left. And then broke down into tears.
What happened to him? He wasn't like this before? Or was I too blind to see it?
I hugged my knees tightly and let my tears out. I couldn't hold it in any longer.
Too lost in my little moment, I hadn't even realized that Justin had came back in my room.
Great, he saw me cry.
I wiped my eyes clean and anger filled me once again.
He was stunned, he just looked at me for a few seconds.
"Why are you here again?" I asked.
"I came to give you your sweater back, you, uh-you left it at-at my place," he said, coming closer to me to give me my sweater.
I snatched it from his hands and tried my hardest to avoid eye contact. He literally walked in on me crying because of him.
"Selen-" he started.
"Get out," I whispered.
"You're crying." He stated the fucking obvious.
"I'm sure you're happy to see that," I muttered.
He walked closer to where I was. I leaned back into my chair, trying to avoid contact.
I can't resist myself around his heavenly scent.
He took a seat beside me as if he was getting ready for a long chat.
He placed his hand on my chin and tilted my head so I was looking at him.
"I really am sorry."
"For not believing me?" I asked.
"I feel so stuck, I don't know what or who to trust," he started "I just can't see that Jaxon would make something up like this. He's never lied to me, we are pretty close."
"Well, you weren't always living with him. He might have changed?" I suggested, feeling more calm.
"Maybe but are you sure you didn't push him, not even accidentally?" he asked, pulling my hand into his.
I nodded my head more than once, "I'm sure. I was no where near him when he ran. I tried to get him to stop but I didn't touch him."
"Why did you yell at him?" he questioned.
By the look on his face, I could tell that he still didn't believe me.
"He thinks that I'm some rude ass girlfriend who doesn't actually like you. He thinks I pretend around you," I told him.
"He told me your dad is telling him this," I added.
"Dad?" he questioned.
I nodded, "I tried to tell you that in the hospital too."
"I'll talk to Jaxon and see what he has to say," he nodded.
"Look, if you don't want to believe me, I get it. You trust your brother just like I trust my sister, it's fine. I'll get over it. Okay?" I admitted, "and yeah, I guess I am a little jealous, only because I thought our trust was stronger than this."
He sighed and squeezed my hand "I'm just confused and the pills I took aren't helping either."
"Pills?" I asked.
"I just got out of the hospital, I don't think I can survive without pain killers," he let out a tired chuckle.
"Right."
"I don't want to fight anymore. This is stupid," he said, pulling me into a tight hug.
At first I decided to push him away but he was right, I didn't want to fight anymore.
"We'll have to work on trusting each other," I said into his chest.
"We'll work on that," he said and planted a kiss on my head, "so are we good?"
"Are we?" I teased.
"Are we?" He asked again.
"I don't know, are we?" I tested.
I could tell he was growing annoyed.
"We are," he said at last.
I smiled as he inched towards me and connected our lips.
