Isaac and I spent ended up planning his little scheme up for the next hour. I knew exactly what I had to do now, and I am eager to teach Justin a lesson. He needs to learn that he cannot go around messing up other people's lives simply for his own comfort.
Now I was headed back to my room because I had to get ready for the party tonight. I came close to not going anymore because of all the information I was still trying to progress. I could not help but feel hurt that Justin was lying about everything.
He was the one who allowed all this to happen and hurt me so terribly, watching me cry about Isaac, while behind his caring act was an evil man who was the cause of that pain. He wanted to swoop in me play the good guy, pretending to be there for me while I cried, holding me, and kissing me. I was stupid to think he cared for me. He was the reason for that pain to begin with.
Tonight, was an opportunity for me to have a good night with Taylor. Katie would be there too. As difficult as it was to ignore the raging thoughts running through my brain, I tried to focus my energy on getting ready for the party.
I looked at my reflection in the mirror, I was wearing a black and white strapless dress. It seemed a little formal, but it was the best thing I had for now. I decided I would leave my hair open tonight, it fell over my shoulders, in its natural wavy state.
This party was an opportunity to also start with the plan Isaac and I had come up with. Justin was going to be there and as much as I want to scream in his face, I must wait.
Speaking of the monster, he had texted me a few minutes ago about riding to the party together. As much as I wanted to say no, I was also excited to see the plan play to its end.
My heart skipped a beat when I heard a knocking on my door.
He's here.
I attempted to quickly collect myself, he can't know that I know everything.
I forced a smile on my face, letting out a sigh. I walked to the door and opened it to find Justin.
He was stressed in a black leather jacket with a plain white shirt underneath. The silver chain hung lowly from his neck like always, his jeans were baggy but fit him perfectly. He looked good; I'll give him that.
If only he could be good from the inside too.
His eyes wandered from my head to my toes, leaving me anxiously fumbling with my hands.
"You look..." He started but before he could finish, I cut him off.
"Great, I know." I rolled my eyes, pretending to care for his attempt at a compliment.
As much as I hated to give him the satisfaction, I had to, "You look nice too, Justin."
A smirk crept upon his face as the words escaped my lips, obviously flattered by my compliment, that I didn't actually mean.
Well, I mean, he does look good, but the last thing I want to do is tell him that right now.
I walked back to my bed and grabbed the small black purse, I reached for my phone and shot Taylor a quick message that I would no longer be needing a ride from her and that I would update her on some things when I see her.
I tucked my phone into the purse and walked back over to Justin,
"Let's go?" I asked, motioning towards the door.
He nodded in agreement and followed me out the door.
I allowed Justin to lead the way as I was uncertain about where he had parked his car.
