Selena's POV

After attending all my classes, I decided to go home.

It was strange that I genuinely for once was missing home. I guess I was missing the feeling for normal. And although I don't like my dad, I still got a sense of comfort knowing he was around. I hated to admit it, but I did miss him but there was no way I was going to tell him that. I'll just say I forgot to bring something from home that I needed. Make it sound like I'm there because I had to come. I don't want him to have the satisfaction of his daughter missing him. I can't forgive him for what he did to my Mom.

I also decided I would go out and buy some groceries for Katie and me. She bought food last week and I wanted to return the favor. Maybe having this as a weekly responsibility can be a balance between us with food.

With the way Katie dresses, its evident she comes from a rich background. Still, I'm not one to rely on someone whole-heartedly. Even if it's for food, although Katie stated she had no problem with buying the food, I wanted to contribute as well. Besides, I do have some money saved up and a lot more was transferred to me after my Mom died.

Katie was on her bed, headphones plugged in. I was able to hear the songs from my bed. I guess she likes her music loud.

I didn't want to head home alone, I am debating if maybe Isaac would want to come along. I wasn't completely over the fact that he ditched me, but I was getting there, simply because his Mom was sick.

Isaac's POV

I can't believe I lied to Selena about canceling our date, but if I told her the real reason, I didn't show up the date, she would hate me. She would not even give me a chance to explain myself.

I looked around my small dorm, which I shared with Noel, my roommate. He's a cool guy but he's barely here.

My phone rang and I picked it up as Selena's name flashed on the screen.

I placed it to my ear,

"Hey!" I spoke.

"Hi! Can you do me a favor? Please?" Selena asked. Obviously, I would do almost anything for her.

"Yeah! What is it?" I asked her.

"Will you come with me to my Dad's?" she asked in her sweet little voice.

"Of course, be right there!" I agreed.

I decided to wash my face and before I could leave my room, someone barged into my room.

A very familiar face.

Fuck. Not this again.

Justin's POV

I was back at my dorm, I am supposed to be sharing it with some guy named Daniel, but I told him to switch and let Luke share this dorm with me. He didn't seem to care considering I'm not the best roommate to have. He almost seemed a little too happy leaving this room.

After the incident with Becky, Selena has been on my mind more than the usual amount. I'm barely ever in my dorm and lately, I've only been coming back so I can find excuses to go see her.

Luke was starting to get annoyed with me, because although he enjoys spending time with Katie, I am constantly asking him to come with me, so I have a reason to go there as well. It seems more casual that way.

"Let's go to Selena's room!" I had said to Luke again, probably for the third day in a row now.

"You liking Selena is getting on my fucking nerves!" He groaned, "I was literally just with Katie."
