I pulled myself out of bed, glancing at the clock that read 12:43 P.M
I rolled out of bed lazily, stretching and now opening the blinds to allow some natural light in. I smiled to myself, happy that I got to sleep in today. The party is tonight so I decided I would spend my afternoon simply doing some self-care. The past week has been so draining and I am ready to move part it.
I looked over to Katie, who was still sleeping tightly in her bed, one of her legs exposed while the other laid snugly under the baby blue blanket.
I decided I would start the day by having a warm shower. I also shaved my legs and armpits as I had neglected the prickles for the past few days. When I finished taking my shower, I applied coconut oil to my skin, leaving me satisfied with the smoothness of my skin. I wrapped the white towel around my body securely and walked to the small closet, deciding to wear a pair of black leggings along with an oversized shirt that read, 'I am not lazy, I just enjoy doing nothing.' The shirt belonged to my Dad and I had stolen it from him a while back.
Finally, I blow-dried my black hair and applied some moisturizer to my face, cringing at how dry my face had been before I applied it. As I reached over to grab a clay mask, I was interrupted by my phone ringing. I rushed to answer it, not wanting to wake Katie by the sound of the annoying ringing. She should be able to enjoy sleeping in just as I did this morning.
The caller ID read Isaac and I could not help but sigh as I answered it.
"What?" I spat.
"You have to hear me out. It's all a misunderstanding!" He said, his voice cracked a little.
If I know Isaac well, which I thought I did, I will say he had been either crying or drinking. It was evident in his voice.
"I don't think there is any misunderstanding. I fully saw you and Becky together," I said, "I'm not wanting to stretch out this conversation Isaac."
"I know. But-" He started "Look, let me explain, can you meet me in my dorm?"
I remained silent, trying to gather my thoughts if I was mentally ready to face Isaac, I did not want to cry in front of him and he had truly hurt me a lot.
"Please, Selena, I wouldn't intentionally hurt you like this, you know me better than anyone," He added, not taking my silence as an answer.
"Fine. It better not be a waste of time," I gave in, and hung up the phone before he had the chance to say more.

I was now standing in front of Isaac's room, my heart beating faster than ever. I had not seen him since...
Well, since he and Becky were together.
I cringed at the memory and took in a deep breath and finally knocked on the thin wooden door.
Isaac was quick to open it, offering me an apologetic smile as I walked into the room.
It did not take long for me to realize the second presence in the room.
Becky.
What the fuck?
"Seriously?" I gritted, turning my heel to walk out of the room.
"Selena, wait," Isaac gripped my wrist gently, "She has something to tell you, please." He urged.
I studied Isaac's face, he was desperate to have this conversation and I could almost see it in his eyes that he was sorry.
That is when I decided that I would give this a chance and hear them out. What could they possibly have to say to me?
I turned back around, now facing Becky, who was wearing black shorts along with a cropped black hoodie that exposed just about an inch of her well-toned stomach.
