We reached the campus and as we walked to our rooms, Justin quietly hummed to a song that previously was played on the radio.
"Thanks for today," I smiled at him as I reached my room.
"Anything for you," He said, almost a whisper and then he pulled me in for an unexpected hug.
It happened so quickly that I had no time to respond. My hands awkwardly hung at my side, not hugging him back. He pulled away shortly, a tight smile present.
"Bye," I smiled one last time and walked into my room.
After changing into my sweats and a tank top, I decided to finish my homework.
It's 9:00 at night and I have school tomorrow. Hopefully, I can finish up my work in about an hour and then maybe go to sleep.
~
After finishing up all my work it was 10:23.
"Hey!" Katie walked in.
"Hey, where were you?" I asked.
"I was stuck with a family dinner," She sighed, placing her purse and keys on her side table as she plopped on to the bed.
"Had fun?" I asked.
"No, I was forced to eat Steak," She frowned, scrunching her face in disgust, "I hate Steak and then my mom forced me to pretend to like it so my Grandma wouldn't feel offended."
"Lucky," I said sarcastically.
"I'll take you with me next time," She laughed.

Morning...
I woke up to my alarm, after shutting it up, I took a few minutes to pull myself out of bed.
When I managed to get up, I looked around and realized Katie was still sleeping.
I might as well use the washroom first and then she can.
I hopped in for a warm shower, I was barely awake, and my mind was still trying to wake up.
After my shower, I decided to wear a white shirt with a jean jacket on top. Along with black skinny jeans.
As I made my way to my first class, I met Taylor in the hallway.
"Heyyyy!" she said, pulling me for a hug.
"Hey!" I smiled.
"You won't believe what happened," she said, excitedly.
"What?" I asked, confused.
"I'm meeting T.J's parents today! I'm so fucking nervous!" She bit her lip.
"Don't stress you'll do just fine," I laughed.
"You have to help me figure out what to wear!"
"Of course. I'll catch up with you after my classes then?"
"Yeah that'd be nice," she smiled and then we walked off to our classes.
It feels like it's been forever since I went to class.
"Selena," Justin called from behind me. He was dressed in denim ripped jeans along with a black t-shirt.
"Hey, you made it on time huh?" I joked.
He nodded a little and then we took our seats.
"Selena, I actually wanted to tell you something," Justin started.
"What is it?" I asked, already feeling nervous.
"Well, so I talked to Luke and he wants to say sorry to you. So I was wondering if you could come over sometime to my house," He stopped his sentence and looked at me "Well if you don't want to come to my house we can meet up somewhere else" he explained.
"I think I'll be fine" I told him, feeling good about the idea that Luke was willing to say sorry.
"And, do you think you can bring Katie with you?" He asked, scratching his head.
"Katie? I don't think that's a good idea," I told him.
"I know Luke fucking messed up, but you have no clue how he's been ever since Katie left him. You have to convince Katie to give him another chance."
"Look, I'm sorry but I don't exactly trust Luke or you. Especially Luke," I kept my voice low.
"Just please bring Katie there and we'll see how it goes? Okay? Let them make their decisions."
"I don't know..." I bit my lip.
"Okay class, I'm going to introduce our assignment," Mrs. Hilton started, interrupting Justin and me.
"Talk to me about this at lunch?" Justin asked.
"Fine," I muttered and turned my attention towards the teacher.
"I want you all to pick a book from the library and please make sure the book is reasonable for this assignment. I want you all to read the book and then talk about the book, maybe you can make a trailer, PowerPoint, or type it up and I'm expecting more than 1000 words. Your assignment must talk about the characters, plot, problem, characters and all that good stuff," She said, writing a due date on the board.
"And all of this must be done by four weeks. That includes reading the book and finishing the work about the book"
"Is she fucking messing around?" Justin gasped.
"I'm sure you can read a book in a week Justin." I laughed at his reaction.
"I don't read."
"Well now you have to."
"How about you read my book for me? And then do all the-"
"No. Justin. I'm not doing your work for you," I cut him off.
"I'll just have to ask Katie then,"
"You guys can head off to the library now if you'd like!" Mrs. Hilton said.
I grabbed my bag and headed to the library with Justin and some other classmates to look for a book.
"I don't want to read," Justin whined.
"Then lose marks," I rolled my eyes.
"What if I don't pass this class?"
"That's on you," I responded.
"C'mon can't I pick a picture book or something?" Justin said, picking out random books and putting then in the wrong place.
"How about I make you a deal?" I asked him.
"Okay...what is it?" he said, finally stopping with the whining.
Don't do it Selena. Don't be an idiot.
Just because he looks good, don't be an idiot.
"I'll agree to go on a date with you, if you hand this assignment in on time," I said, shocking my own self as I heard my words out loud.
I bit my tongue, almost cringing at myself.
Meh, the likelihood of him actually finishing his work is rare.
"Really? You'd do that?" He asked, surprised.
I didn't think I would. I know, I'm an idiot.
"Sure," I said "only if you read the book and make a presentation and get a good mark."
There, that sounds somewhat reasonable.
"Deal babe," he smirked, shaking my hand.
