Sky's POV-
"Well you're going to have to let me hold you at some point!" I yelled into Jace's face causing him to look down. So, we've been courting- maybe that is a too strong term to use but what else can I call it- for almost two weeks now. No, I still haven't told Jace about me being a werewolf...can you really expect me to when we're having a fight about physical contact?
"I know!" he yelled back glancing up at me before his eyes quickly darted back to the floor of my bedroom. "It's just...you have to be more patient and work with me on this. It's all so new and weird to me. I've never been with another guy before."
"You don't think it's weird for me too Jace? My last ex was a boy, the only guy I've ever been with besides you and even when we had sex it was still weird for me because all my other ex's were all female." I noticed how Jace's demeanour changed upon the mention of my past times and even more so of the mention of how I'd had sex with them.
Taking a deep breath, I ran a frustrated hand through my hair realizing that now was not the time to talk about sex with past times. Walking closer to him- he still hasn't looked up- I placed a finger under his chin raising his head for his eyes to meet mine.
"We'll take baby steps." I suggested and he smiled in agreement. Bending my head down, I gave his lips a quick peck. Since it was the weekend, Jace had suggested he spend the night over at my place to get comfortable with me touching him even if it meant just cuddling. It was enough to just hold him in my arms.
He'd used the excuse that he was staying over at a friend's house to help with math homework. He chose math because it was the one class he had with me that he didn't with his girlfriend or friends or her friends. Yes, he was still with her...even after two weeks of sneaking around together. I tried to never think about it.
I led Jace over to the couch in my bedroom and sat him down. "You want to watch a movie?" I asked and he shrugged. He looked so adorable the way he was clutching the cushion close to his face. I put in a random comedy movie and went back to the couch with Jace. Since he wanted to lie down instead of sitting through the movie, I did the same, the both of us fitting right in the space with me behind him our legs tangled. My left arm was lazily draped over his waist where he interlocked our fingers.
Halfway through the movie, I'd gotten bored and decided to work on the baby steps of our relationship so I placed soft kisses along his shoulder. He didn't seem to mind anyway since he only made himself more comfortable to accommodate my exploration. His neck now exposed to me, I kissed and nibbled on his neck causing him to arch his body. He let out a giggle when I moved to his ear and started nibbling on his earlobe.
"You like that?" he laughed this time as I continued nibbling away only now, I was also tickling his side. "Do you surrender?" I growled against his ear making him slap a hand over his mouth to contain his laughter. He nodded his head vigorously. I laughed this time wrapping my arms around him and mauling his neck leaving little marks before nuzzling him with my nose back down to his shoulder.
His laughing sobered once he realized that I was no longer kissing his shoulder through the fabric of his t-shirt but rather the flesh itself....and boy was it sweet. He exposed his neck further to me even holding the fabric out of the way. Running my fingers along the exposed flesh, I relished in how smooth his skin was for a male. I placed a soft kiss there before pulling the fabric back in place and resting my chin between his neck and shoulder.
I savoured the feeling of holding him against my own body and even more so when he reached his left hand up and ran it through my hair. His eyes were closed and he wore a smile and he's never looked more handsome.
"Baby steps." He murmured. I made a sound in agreement before nuzzling his neck once again and kissing his cheek.
**********
"You're going to have to break up with her at some point." The words came out muffled due to the fact that my face was buried in his hair. It was Monday again but school had ended and now, we were back at my house with Jace's head resting on my chest. Since we decided to take baby steps, Jace has significantly opened up more to me and seems comfortable with the idea of me touching him.
"Can you not pressure me into this...please?" he snapped the frustration sounding in his voice.
"I didn't mean to make you upset Jace." I replied nuzzling his head. "It's just that you can't be with her and want to be with me all the same."
"I know..." he expelled a long breath before looking up at me. "I just need some time. They can't know." He said his shoulders slumping a little.
"They won't find out; I'll make sure so don't worry." He looked back at me and arched a brow looking uncertain. "You pull the ropes in this relationship." And he does. Jace hasn't realized it but he does. Things are different in the werewolf world where the more submissive partner is like the boss of the relationship.
We stayed in silence for a few minutes just enjoying being with each other and it was a comfortable silence until I finally spoke up. "Hey, you want to try something else?" he looked up at me a suspicious look in his eyes as he eyed me cautiously.
Dipping my head down, I captured his lips in a soft kiss. It was like he melted in my arms and didn't bother with fighting back or protesting which I honestly thought he would but instead he just let me kiss him even returning some action of his own. A moan escaped him giving me a chance to take things further by slipping my tongue into his mouth. I growled at how sweet he tasted. He cradled my head with his right hand then fisting in my hair as another moan escaped him when I wrapped my arms around him, my left hand brushing his thigh causing him to arch his body. Sweet and sensitive!
