"So Bri," You started. "What all started this fight?" Her shoulders sunk.
"I can't say Rookie. Stuff goes around, people saying it was a disagreement, others a gunshot in a family member's heart. I wasn't in it from the strait start, but I went through a whole lot of it." You both walked a few more minutes, then she stopped.
"What is it?" You paced back to her. A body laid before her. Tears started rolling down her face.
"Blake..." She mumbled.
"Who's Blake?" You asked.
"Rookie, shut up and help me carry him." You two picked up Blake as you huffed from his weight.
"Where a-"
"Take him back to the helicopter." She cut you off with a stern look on her face.
~Time Skip~ :3
"Here." You laid the body down feet away from the helicopter.
"Bri what are you doing?" Levi and Gavin stood behind you and Bri.
"Call everyone here, now!" Levi pulled out the walkie talkie.
"Get to the choppa!" Bri glared at the blond.
"Idiot." She laid dried grass around Blake. Everyone showed up in 5 minutes.
"What's going on?" Brady asked.
"Oh shit..." Gillian mumbled.
"What is going on?!" You yelled.
"Rookie! Shut up!!" Bri broke into tears.
"Get me matches." She demanded. Gillian stepped forward and held out a small box, Bri snatching them. As she pulled out a match, she spoke,
"Today we honor a lost soul. Blake was a fighter, a friend, and a brother." A single tear fell as she states the last thing he was. You stood still as everyone else paced towards the burning trail leading to the dead body.
A cough was heard in the silence.
"Who was that?" Everyone looked around as Bri stared at Blake.
His arm shifted.
In a burst of speed, Bri ran to the man's side and dragged him away from the brown grass. Three more coughs were heard as everyone turned towards Bri. Blake sat up and was immediately bear hugged.
