Finding E

Everyone piled off of the Pelican, chattering excessively.

"Okay, we're in a field about 10 miles from Amnesia. So let's get walking!" Bri spun on her heel and started off the opposite way from everyone else.

"How do you know where it is?" Steel called from behind. "Really? We flew over it on the way to landing here." She gestured to the over sized helicopter.

"If you weren't sleeping the whole time you would've seen it." You insulted as you followed Bri's footsteps. Steel stood there and pouted. "You keep that up your lips gonna fall off!" Bri yelled back at him. "Says the one with the piercing in her bottom lip!"

She simply turned around and gave him a smug look. "I'm not pouting like a baby all the time."

You laughed as she turned back around and resumed walking.

Steel rolled his eyes. Blake came up behind him and slapped his back, earning a yelp from the silver-haired man.

"What was that for?" Steel shouted at the taller brunette. "Oh come on Steel, don't be such a baby. Man up." Blake grinned and followed everyone else, you and Bri already being a great distance ahead.

"I hate all of you." Steel mumbled and started dragging his feet.

"Love you too!" Bri called from beside you, right in your ear. "You seem to say that a lot." You commented, holding your hand over your left ear. "Sarcasm. It kills these guys. Besides, you know what they say, kill 'em with kindness." She winked at you and you rolled your eyes.

Bri cleared her throat, earning the group's attention.

"Alright! The town is just up ahead. Amnesia is three buildings down on the right. E is most likely to be on the second floor, so we'll calmly make our way up there." She continued to lead towards the town. "And I swear if any of you forgot your pistol!" You heard Brady give a nervous chuckle from the middle of the group.

"Burress!" Bri snapped.

"I couldn't find it!"

Bri gave off a low growl and reached to her spare holster. "Heads up!" She shouted, and with that Brady was hit in the head with a flying gun.

After that, Braxton called from the back. "I don't have a pistol, but I have a sniper, will that work?"

"You're fine! Just stay low."

Once that was said, you started hearing a soft thumping noise. "I hear music up ahead! We're getting close!" You called and looked at Bri. "I promise, you'll make it through this." She grabbed your hand and pulled you into a tight hug.

When you looked back at her face, she was crying.
"I know you can make it through this too." You reassured her as you wiped her tears with your thumb. She sighed and checked that she was fully loaded. "You're right."

Once you finally got into town, the team started towards the club.

"Wait, if Braxton has a sniper riffle, that kinda gives away the whole 'not up to anything' effect." You informed Bri, causing her to look back at the pale-skinned soldier.

"What the hell?!" You followed the purple haired captain's gaze to meet the fact that Braxton's sniper was no where to be found. "Where's your gun?" You simply asked. "Don't worry about it." He shrugged it off as if you asked where the cat was.

"Let's just do this." Bri rolled her eyes at the questionable red head.

"We'll go in as groups. Gillian, Logan, Brady, and Bri will go in first. Then Levi, Cole, and Blake will go in about 10 feet behind them. Adam, Steel, and Braxton will go next 5 minutes later. Gavin and I will go last." You talked to Bri on the flight here and she decided that you should take charge on this mission.
