"It's not that simple Gillian!" Hunter yelled at the blonde.

"How else am I supposed to fix this?!" She shouted back. Now it was her turn to cry.

"What were you thinking Gillian? You knew that would hurt her, so why did you say it?" You asked her kindly.

"I was caught up in the moment. The thought of Bri having a baby, the thought of a little kid running around, all those memories of failed attempts at a family came flooding back to me." Gillian's voice cracked.

"Hey, shh shh shh. Don't cry. That doesn't solve anything." You told her. "Look at me." Every word you spoke was soft and kind.

Gillian lifted her gaze to meet yours, and you saw her blue eyes glossed with tears. You could only think of one thing to do.

You wrapped Gillian in the best hug you could give her. She laughed softly. "Thanks Rookie." She said as she hugged you back.

"It's what friends are for."

"Not trying to ruin the moment, but is someone gonna check on the girl who ran into her room crying?" Logan interrupted.

"Braxton followed her in there, he'll calm her down." Hunter stepped up onto the couch and sat on the back of it.

~~~Bri's POV~~~
"I can't believe she said that. I can't believe her." I cried. Braxton walked over to me as I threw myself face-down into my pillow.
"Don't listen to her, Bri. She was probably really concerned about you." He had started rubbing little circles on my back to relax me.
"Did you mean what you said back there?" He asked me.
"About what?"
"That you'd wanna start a family." He laid down next to me, wrapping his arms around my stomach.
"I wouldn't have anything against starting a family. But now isn't the time, Brax. You understand that, right?"
"I completely understand. I just had to clarify since it could've just been the heat of the moment that made you say that." He chuckled.
I kissed his cheek. "Right now, I don't think the others could handle a mini me running around." I joked.
"I don't think they could ever handle that." He grinned. I faked being offended.
"Fine, I see how it is." I said sassily and rolled onto my side so my back was facing him.
"Hey, don't be like that. I don't like it when you're like that." He made a pouty face to make me feel bad, and damnit it worked. I turned around to face him.
"You know what I wanna do right now?" I asked him.
"What do you wanna do?" He grabbed my hand and laced our fingers together.
"Take a nap!" I giggled.
"If that's what my princess wants to do, then we shall do so." He pulled a blanket over us as we curled up together.
