I rolled my eyes from across the field
"Just throw it to me!" I shouted
"You're not going to catch it and Blake is gonna hurt you!" He shouted back
I ran all the way over to Grayson who was all suited up. He took off his helmet and looked at me.
"I'm telling you he's gonna hurt you." Grayson spoke
"He's not actually tackling me. He's just gonna pick me up that's all. I'm going to catch it."I said with somewhat of an attitude
"I'm like 6'2 and you're 5'5." He said not wanting to throw the ball still
I rolled my eyes "More like 5'12 1/2. Madison is going to blow the whistle then jump on your back then your going to throw the ball to me before you fall. Blake is simply going to pick me up. Once we do that a few times we're gonna work on your arm strength. Clear?"
He nodded his head "Crystal."
I ran back over to my spot as Madison blew the whistle. I saw her jump on Grayson's back as he totally threw the ball in the wrong direction.
"What the hell was that?" Blake yelled lifting up his helmet
I rolled my eyes and walked to retrieve the ball. The cheerleaders and football players were still running. Some of the girls didn't like just being in sports bras, while other totally loved it. I knew in about five minutes they would begin stretching. I walked back to Madison, Blake, and Grayson.
"Stop being scared." I told him handing him the ball "Just throw it. Worst case is that the ball goes over my head okay?"
He nodded his head as we all got back in position. I heard the whistle go off and Grayson throw the ball the correct way this time. As it got to me I jumped in the air and caught the ball. I attempted to run the end-zone before Blake threw me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
As we reached where Grayson was we, Blake put me down and I handed the ball back.
"Damn, you can catch," Grayson said surprised "Attagirl."
"I told you. Now go practice with the other boys, because we have to get the sports bra club ready for Friday." I said before Madison and I walked over to the girls who were already stretching
"I can't believe you got to be in Blake Johnson's arms." Josie freshmen exclaimed
Then Farrah sat up "No! I can't believe she got Grayson fucking Cooper to talk to her. Do you know how fast he normally dodges cheerleaders or anyone besides Blake?"
"Don't even stress about it. It's nothing like that. I'm not interested." I started as I sat on the bench
Farrah nodded her head "Well good because I'm totally interested. We all are."
"Okay! Stunt groups! We're gonna practice heel stretches, libs, tick tocks, full ups, scorpions, and our half time routine." Madison yelled as everyone got up
Before I went to my stunt group I saw Grayson giving the boys tips and I don't know what arm workout he did but his arm strength did get better. I was impressed, but I'd never tell him that. I walked to my stunt group that consisted of Farrah, Jackie, and Amber,
"You were totally checking him out." Jackie accused as she twirled her hair "He's for Farrah, Blake is for me, and Amber has a boyfriend in college."
"I was checking out his football skills, not him. Not interested."I bought up again as getting in the middle of them
"Well good, because he would never go out with someone who's a virgin." Jackie said as we got ready to do a toe touch basket toss
I really regretted giving up that fact about me at our team bonding exercise.
