The Captains

Chapter 7

I woke up the next morning in a bed. In a bed, that wasn't mine. A room, not even close to mine. The paint color was completely different and the decoration was nowhere near my room.

I sat up to see the infamous Grayson Cooper, sleeping on his stomach with his arms under his pillow. We were sleeping head to head, but there was a pillow in between us. I also saw Blake sleeping on the floor across the room. I looked over at the clock and it was nearly one in the afternoon.

"Asp?" Grayson said in his deep morning voice "Stop freaking out you're in my house. You live down the street and around the corner from me. I didn't wanna wake you and I wouldn't have a ride home so you're here."

"Does my mom know I'm here?" I asked fast

Grayson nodded his head "Yeah she knows."

I was somewhat relieved. "Madison and I have mall plans for in an hour and thirty minutes. I'm gonna go home and get ready. Are you going to sleep the day away?"

His eyes got big,  "Shit. I have to take Gill somewhere."

"My mom is picking them up from the mall. Madison and I are going to dinner afterward maybe a movie or not." I said sitting up

He nodded his head "We might join you. Blake needs to get out even though he probably has a killer hangover."

"Okay, but we're shopping seriously. So no complaining." I said giving him a warning as I put my shoes on

"I'm sure I can entertain myself considering I live with two girls. Well, one girl and one woman." Grayson said rolling on his back 

I grabbed my phone and looked at my recent text 

Mom- Catherine and I have decided to take the girls to the Ariana Grande concert tonight as a surprise. It's in Orlando which is an hour and thirty minutes away. We'll be back Sunday evening since we booked a hotel for a night. We're leaving around four thirty, so no more mall. This doesn't mean I won't need any more favors. Please tell Grayson. Love ya sweet pea.

"Grayson, my mom and your mom are taking the girls to the Ariana Grande concert, so no more mall for them. Just meet me and Madison at the mall." I said standing up

He nodded his head "Okay, see you later Asp."

"See you later," I responded as I walked to open his bedroom door

Grayson got out the bed shirtless "Wait, I'm gonna walk you out."

Oh my gosh.

He leaned against the car "We're half virgins now."

I was super confused and I gave him a confused look "What do you mean?"

"We both slept together. In the same bed. Half virgins. Don't worry I would never do something like that." Grayson said giving me a small smile

I started laughing a bit "I don't think it works like that. I wouldn't think you would do something like that after that speech you gave to drunk Blake."

He nodded his head "Good. See you in an hour or so Aspen Jane."

I opened my car door and got into the driver's seat "See you in a bit Grayson Luke! The savior of Ocean City High School!"

He stopped leaning on my car and gave me the bird. I saw Grayson then walk back inside his house. I drove down the street then took a turn, just as he said. I pulled into the driveway happy to see my mom's car was still there. I put my car in park and ran inside my house.
