Chapter 16

I stood in front of the mirror curling my hair with Madison on speaker phone on the other.

"Wow, I still can't believe you imagined that," Madison said once again about Grayson and I. And yes I trusted Madison with everything, except with my past.

I wrapped a piece of hair around the barrel of the curling wand "Please what happened with you and Blake?"

"Well after you and Grayson left we went to that Movie place with recliners. We were the only ones there and we kissed. Like a lot." Madison said as I could imagine her blushing

"God Madison don't end up pregnant." I said as I saw Amelia standing in the doorway of my bathroom "I gotta go. I'll text you when I get home from the game."

Madison said goodbye and hung up. Amelia was wearing a flowy top that said "Gator Nation" denim shorts, and University of Florida high top converse style shoes.

"Can you do my hair like somewhat nice? Maybe light makeup?" Amelia asked as I finished my hair

I nodded my head as I did her long brown hair in a half ponytail half down style. I also added some waves with my curling iron for a nice touch. As for her makeup, I didn't do anything too heavy for a thirteen-year-old.

"Okay go eat something. Grayson will be here in like ten minutes." I said pushing her out of my bathroom

"Thanks for doing my hair." She said closing the door behind her

Originally Amelia wasn't coming, but my mother made me take her otherwise I couldn't go. So I decided to take her. She would probably fall asleep after the second quarter.

As for my outfit, I was wearing my brother's jersey with denim shorts. I was wearing my hair in its natural curls with light makeup.

"Well don't you girls look cute!" My mom smiled as I walked downstairs

"Thanks. Grayson is outside so." I informed her

"Here girls." My mom said handing us forty dollars each

"It's important to have cash at these type of things." She told us

We walked out side the house to see Grayson's brand new Range Rover. Or his 'Rich Boy' car as I called it. It was beautiful, the car.

"New car?" My mom and sister said

Grayson nodded "Gift from my dad."

"Oh yeah, your mom told me. Anyways drive safe. Call me when you get there." My mom said as Amelia and I got in the car

"Bye, mom," I said waving

Grayson leaned in a bit "Bye, Kelly."

We started driving away from my house. I looked into the rear-view mirror and Amelia put in her earbuds in. So she couldn't hear anything.

"Thanks for the text last night. I really am fine." I said after a few moments

Grayson was quite for a minute "I get it."

"No, you don't. I know you're pissed at me or mad." I said

"No, I'm not. Why would you think that?" He spoke defensively

I looked at him "You're doing that thing."

"What thing?" Grayson said a bit louder

"That thing when you start blinking more and start wiggling your fingers. That's how I know when you're lying or pissed. You did it when you saw your dad when Kyle pissed you off at the beach, and now." I pointed out
