• Deshawn's POV •
I laid down on the couch and decided to take a nap after I got off the phone. Wasn't much to do when all the people I hang with were in class or on the clock. I woke up out of my sleep to the sound of somebody knocking on my door.
I put one of the couch pillows over my face in hopes that whoever was there would suddenly go away. Instead the uninvited guest just knocked harder. "Damn," I mumbled under my breath as I approached the door. "Who is it!" I asked with a dreadful tone.
"Just open up," an all too familiar female voice answered. I cracked open the door to see Ash standing there. She smiled lustfully at me. "Why don't you look fine," she said biting her bottom lip and pushing open the door.
"What ya doing here?" I asked looking her up and down with a scowl on my face.
"You not happy to see me?" She asked with her head cocked to the side.
"Am I ever?"
"I see you read my text." She mentioned.
"Ok and...?" I retorted smartly.
"Well what I have to say is important," Ashleigh smirked sitting with her legs crossed on my couch. She rubbed her hand over one of the cushions. "Ahh the memories," she smiled.
"What do you want, man?" I sighed shaking my head. Those 'memories' she was referring to were dead and gone just like our relationship.
"I want you." She said rubbing on my chest as I sat down on the couch.
"Find something else to want because I'm taken," I said pushing her off of me.
"You mean Bri?" She asked with a look of disgust.
"Yea I do. I'm trying to work things out with her today. So..."
"Well I don't think she feels the same way anymore."
I looked at her with my eyes slightly shut,"Why wouldn't she?"
"I pretty sure she doesn't wanna play house as the step momma," Ashleigh laughed.
"What you mean?" I asked disgustedly. I hated this kind of running in circle conversation.
"I told her how we still fool around."
"You what!?" I yelled now standing up.
"She deserved to know," she snapped.
"We haven't even did shit since...what?...two months ago. That was before her!"
Ashleigh rolled her eyes and yawned flipping her weave," Maybe you're right, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm that many months pregnant."
"The fuck you talking bout?" I snarled.
"I'm pregnant, D."
"It ain't mine. I know it's not."
"What the hell makes you so sure!?" She fussed.
"Because when we were about to get back together two months ago, you were already being unfaithful as always. Remember that shit!?" Ashleigh sat there with a stupid look on her face.
"You was cheating round with that dude who play right tackle for the football team, Cam. I guess you got amnesia now huh?"
Ashleigh rolled her eyes as if she wasn't trying to hear what o was saying, but trust she was listening.
"Then to even further prove how wrong and lying yo ass is...is the fact that when we did fuck around, I was strapped. Every time. Now ask yourself was he?" I pointed out. This whole situation felt like an episode of Maury and I was the nigga that knew he wasn't the father and was actually correct about it.
Ashleigh stood up with a mad look on her face,"Whatever. Fuck you. I hope she worth it. Cause you know I'm better." Ash headed towards the door and slammed it behind her. I sat back down on the couch and laid my head back. After all this drama (that I didn't deserve) I needed a stiff drink and possibly some head. But I knew what I really needed to be doing was calling or texting Bri to apologize about the way I acted the other day. Now I was going to have to add explaining the Ashleigh situation to that sorry list too.Text to: Brianne
