After a quick stop by my locker in the gym, Lexi and I walked around to the back of the school in towards the woods. I kept looking around remembering the note saying that I would be watched. Although I didn't see anybody watching, I could feel eyes following my every move.

As we got into the woods, I started to feel more and more relaxed. I didn't understand it at first, but then I began to realize it was because I felt welcomed there. I looked over to Lexi she seemed really relaxed also. If she was afraid she was doing a great job of hiding it. I just hope she wasn't really afraid. If she was, Rogue would notice, the matter how well she hid it.

We came into a clearing and decided to wait there. I figured Rogue would be there at any moment because he wasn't the type of guy to keep me waiting. I was right, within the next five minutes broke was entering the opposite side of the clearing. He looked at me and Lexi the back at me me again, raising his eyebrows. I was even more surprised than he was when Lexi stepped forward in knelt in front of him. I wasn't expecting it. Rogue started laughing, "Who is this chick, Crimson? Does she think this is some kind of cult?!" He laughed even harder.

I pulled Lexi back to her feet and apologized to Rogue. After it thought about it I decided that I would get rogue explain everything to her later. First, I had to see what the meeting was about before I told her anything. Rogue pulled me away from Lexi and onto an old hiking trail. The path seem to be overgrown with bushes, and long grass. In some spots, I couldn't even tell we were on a trail. Rogue seem to know where he was going to, so I kept following him.

The trail seem to getting more and more overgrown. There were jagged rocks and stray sticks on the ground, and my legs got scratched in several places. After about what's in like an hour of walking when finally stopped at an old cabin. It was a place that I recognized, but didn't remember exactly where from. It didn't make any sense. It was completely illogical for someone to recognize somewhere they hadn't seen before, but it was happening to me. It felt like a freaky déjà vu.

I was about to ask about the cabin when Rogue began to speak. "This place is strange, huh? The first time I was here I felt like I'd seen it before, but I hadn't been here. I bet that's how you feel right now."

I smiled him, "How do you do that?"

"Do what," he asked.

I sighed and took a step closer to him, "How do you always know when I'm about to say? You always do that, even when we were little. It's kind of frustrating because-"

He cut me short, "It's frustrating because you can't keep secrets from me? Or is it frustrating because I know you better than you know yourself? Or maybe it's both?" I couldn't believe it. He said exactly what I was about to say, except in question form. It didn't make any sense. It was like he could read my mind. Maybe he could, I scrunched up my nose and got in his face and I thought of the most random thing I could. After a few moments of silence Rogue said, "Exploding monkeys flying through space." Seriously?! He was like a freaking psychic. I couldn't keep a straight face after that. I began laughing, Rogue looked at me like I had gone crazy. "Is that the most random thing you could think of? Really? That is one of the most used random thoughts for you." Apparently this wasn't a very serious meeting because I couldn't stop laughing. I just couldn't shake the thought of what exploding monkeys flying through space would look like.

I finished laughing and wiped the tears from my face, I straightened up and settle down. Rogue just had to be a wise guy and say, "All seriousness aside, I think the tree are my raptor babies."

I put a mock serious look on my face and exclaimed, "Oh no! Not your raptor babies!!" We both hit the ground in a fit of hysterics. I honestly hadn't laughed like that for weeks. And I couldn't remember a time when I had ever locked like that with Rogue, it was great.
