Chapter 10: I Love You

Justin walked into Katy's hospital room, glancing at his mate's tired form. She forced a weak smile onto her lips while speaking to her father. Justin walked closer to the father and daughter, smiling at Katy. When her eyes spotted him, she smiled widely causing his own smile to increase.

"Dad, may I please speak with Mr Silverstone, alone?" Katy sweetly asked her dad. He wanted to refuse, thinking about how he had hurt his daughter. Mr Smith glared at the younger man and nodded his head, walking out of the room right after he kissed her on her forehead.

"I'm so sorry, babe. I really did not mean to hurt you. I was just so angry about what that sick man did to you and lost control," he apologised.

"It's fine, Justin. I understand what happened and it's all my fault. I shouldn't have walked around the house in only my bathing suit and I shouldn't have been that close to you when you shifted."

Justin rushed to the bed, tightly gripping Katy's shoulders against the bed, making her gasp out of shock. He pulled himself so close to her that their lips were touching.

"Don't you ever blame yourself for that bastard's disgusting actions. He is a grown man and he chose to do that. He deserves to be in jail because you stopped me from ripping his head off." He finished.

Sitting on the chair next to her with their hands intertwined, Justin asked, "Katy, what is your real name?"

Katy chuckled, "What makes you think that 'Katy' is not my real name?" Justin only shrugged as an answer. "My real name is Katleho. Might be hard for you to pronounce though."

"Ka- what now?" He smiled at her. Katy laughed out loud, throwing her head back.

"Ka-tle-ho. It's like you would say 'clay' and 'clap'. Like Kaclay or Kaclap. You just have to stress that a little bit."

"Oh. So I can call you Kaclay, right?" Justin teased the teenage girl. She just opened and closed her mouth while narrowing her eyes at Justin, causing him to laugh.

"I'm kidding, Katleho," He said.

"Hey. You got it right," Katy smiled a weak smile that broke Justin's heart to pieces.

"Of course, I did. Baby, I really am truly sorry. It just breaks my heart to know that I am the reason for your pain. Katy, I love you. I know we only met each other not so long ago but I do and each day that I see you I love you more than the previous one. I honestly don't know how to control myself when I'm around you because you drive me nuts, baby girl." The man confessed melting the poor girl's heart.
