Chapter Thirty Two - Letters

"Angels, please report to my office. I repeat, please report to my office." Over the intercom, Maui called for us.

"Let's go everyone!~" Alex squealed, jumping up and running towards Maui's office.

"Hyper Lady." Chester spat, jumping up and following Alex.

"Wonder what we did..." Kat whispered, taking Chase's hand and following the others.

"Can I-I come..?" Sonia asked me, tugging on my sleeve.

Luna walked by and smirked. "That's adorable." She said, going towards Maui's office.

I smiled and nodded. We walked to Maui's office to see everyone already waiting for us.

"So what's up? Whatcha call us for?" Alex asked, eyes sparkling.

"Yeah, I'm such a busy person! Hurry it up!~" Chester joked, laughing at his own joke.

"I have mail for you all!~" Maui smiled, pointing to a stack.

"I'll pass them out!" I announced, grabbing the stack.

I handed one to Kat first, then Luna, then Chester, then Alex, then I finally got mine.

"Oh. Chase, doesn't look like you got any..."

Chase looked down in frowned, "No-Not su-surprising..."

Alex ripped her opened first. It was a letter, her eyes scanned the paper with abnormal speed.

Her eyes widened, then she smiled. Her eyes actually started getting teary, "R-Romeo invited me to H-his b-ball! He's gonna find a-a Queen!"

Kat was next, she ripped it opened and there was another letter.

Her eyes widen.

"W-what is it?" Chase asked.

Kat jumped, hiding the letter and smiling. "Ju-just money from my... F-father!"

Luna ripped hers open. She read her letter and scoffed. "My home town is getting a new mayor? And I'm invited. Surprising. That's stupid anyway." She rolled her eyes.

"MY TUUURN!~" Chester squealed, opening his letter. He scanned the letter and his face turned into despair.

He dropped the letter.

"C-Chester? Hey. What's the matter?" Alex asked, walking up to him and grabbing his arm. "What is it--"

Chester's pupils turned thin, his face turned insane. He smiled. "Ha...haha...HAHA...!"

He pushed Alex to the ground, causing her to yelp. He ran out of the room with lighting speed.

"Chester! Shit, where is he going?!" Maui yelled, glaring at us like we knew the answer.

"I-I! We don't know!" I said, Sonia kinda shaking.

Kat helped Alex up.

That was all thirty minutes ago. We kept searching for him but we couldn't find him.

But then we saw smoke coming from the village, Conny.

We all grabbed our horses and rode to Conny as fast as we could.

Taking not only the Angels, But Alja, Zero, and Koji.
