Chapter Fifty Two - The Murders Location

Sonia's head rested on Lily's back, he was tired due to the lack of sleep he had from the night before. Luckily, Koji wasn't paying attention and didn't notice.

Zero came along, not to help with the mission at hand, but because he wanted more chances to talk and flirt with Luna. They seemed distance lately.

Kat bought a new wand, it was more of a staff now though. She really liked it. She happily rode her horse, admiring the staff.

Chase was riding his horse in silent and Chester was talking to himself, no one knowing what he was saying.

Alja was riding his horse in the from, leading the group. Like a wolf alpha.

On horseback it would take two days to arrive. Meaning the group had plenty of time to think of a plan on how to get rid of these murderers, finding out why the attacked stornway, and lastly finding out why the had to kill the king to do it.

The first time they stopped Alja tried to discuss how to get the answers out of these killers. But, everyone was tired and Sonia didn't want to talk about it at that moment.

The second time they stopped, Chester gave a suggestion about how to get the answers.

"We'll just torture them till they do!~"

Somehow they all agreed on it, realizing it might be the only way to get answers.

Sonia gulped a bit, he was really nervous. Not that he didn't want this, he was just scared.

Finally the two stressing days ended and they arrived at the location. A cave.

Two men guarded the entrance to the cave, holding spears and wearing heavy iron armor. Of course none of the gang was scared, but they wanted to get rid of the enemy swiftly and quietly.

"We need to get of them." Alja giggled in an insane way, showing that side of him. "But~ don't kill them! We don't wanna cause any unnecessary sacrifices."

"Let me do it." Zero whispered to Alja, Alja bit his lip. Not sure if that was the correct choice.

"C'mon! I haven't fought in so long! I'll be super fast!" He whispered-screamed. Alja rolling his eyes and nodding. Prepared to regret his choice.

Zero gripped on his knife, given to him by Alja. He slowly made his way out of the hiding spot everyone was at. On the left side he slowly emerged, raising the knife. About to stab him in the throat....

But an arrow whizzed by Zero's head. Causing him to jump and the two guards to immediately notice him.

"INT--" One almost screamed, but Chester and Luna covered but the men mouth and held sword to their necks.

"Be quite or you'll pay with your life." Luna hissed. Glancing at Zero with a bit of bloodlust in her eyes.

Alja punched Zero on the head, Zero making a "OOF!" Sound.

"I didn't say KILL them! I said get RID of them!" Alja crossed his arm and puffed out his cheeks "Dummy."

Zero looked down sadly, upset he didn't get the kill he wanted.

Sonia and Chase emerged from the hiding spot, walking over to the gang quickly. "Are we rea-ready?" Sonia asked, gulping slightly.

Luna and Chester hit the pressure point on the guards, both passing out on the very spot they stood.

Koji strapped his claws on. "I'm ready."

Lily threw Zero his bow. "C'mon! Let's go." Zero catching it and following everyone into the cave.
