Chapter Forty Eight - Nurse Lily is on the case!

Lily entered the infirmary, Koji still asleep. Lily smiled and closed the door quietly.

She tip-toed over to the chair she always say in, by the bed, and quietly sat down.

She opened a book she brought and started reading. Her eyes scanned the words with lighting speed, and before she knew it she was already done.

"H-huh...? Lily..? Why time is it...?"

"Koji! It's um..." Lily glanced at the clock. "Nine forty seven."

Koji groaned, he looked at Lily with begging eyes and smiled. "Can you get me some food?"

"Of course. Stay here! I'll be back soon!"

Lily jumped up and started walking towards the cafeteria. No one was in there. She walked into the kitchen and saw someone.

Sonia.

"Hey Sonia! Are you getting some food as well?" I asked, attempting a conversation.

"Yes! Y-your up early..."

"I'm taking care of Koji." Lily told him, reaching for a bowl and pouring milk into it.

"O-oh.." Sonia looked down, eating a small granola bar.

Lily poured some cereal into the milk filled bowl. Carefully putting it on a tray.

"I'll see ya later, okay? Be good." Lily smiled, her eyes sparkling as she looked at Sonia.

Sonia returned a smile and nodded. "Okay!"

Lily made her way back to the room Koji was. Koji eyes sparkled when he saw the food Lily was holding.

Lily took the spoon and got a spoonful of cereal and milk.

"Chuchu! Here comes the train!" Lily giggled, pushing the spoon up to his mouth.

Koji laughed. "I can eat on my own."

"I know. But feeding you is funny."

"Am I that cute you can't resist me?"

"No. That's Sonia."

"Hey! Offensive!"

They both laughed, Lily a little more though.

"If I'm not cute, what am I?" Koji asked Lily, smirking.

Lily thought for a second. "Well. You're an easily jealous dude."

"Stop teasing me, answer seriously."

"U-uh... Well... I think yo-you are..." Lily's face turned red, she looked at the roof. Koji smiled and chuckled a bit.

Lily looked back at him, their eyes meeting. She cleared her throat.

"You are a very handsome young man."

Koji bursted out into laughter. "T-Thanks!" He said between laughs.

Lily rolled her eyes. "Wasn't that funny."

Koji looked back at Lily, their eyes meeting again.
Lily eyes sparkled as she giggled. "I know I'm sexy, but you don't have to stare."

"A-ah! Sorry... Haha..."

The rest of the day went on like that, by the time Lily left she never found out that Sonia was spying on them the whole time.

And the whole way he walked back to his dorm. He was frowning.
