Chapter Nine -The Strange Encounter

When I arrived back at Blade I apologized. They all said they forgave me but It didn't seem like they did. Chase ran in fear every time I tried to talk to him and Kat wouldn't talk to me anymore!! Alex and Luna didn't change their opinions towards me. Luna acted just as hostile, maybe a little more, and Alex acted the same happy go luck girl.

After completing the mission Alex said we didn't have to go on a mission any time soon. The other alliances would take care of it she told me.

It was around dinner time and I went to go get a sandwich or something. While doing that I ran into someone I didn't exactly know. He had gold hair down to his shoulders. He looked cold, I finally recognized him. He was from Thunders!

"Oh... Hello!! Sorry for bumping into you, it was an accident."

He looked down at me, his expression didn't change. He was still staring coldly at me.

"Your name is Lily... Isn't it?" He asked me, not even looking at me anymore.

"Yeah... I'm new! I'm in Angels... Hehe!~" I giggled a bit. I started to feel awkward.

His expression changed from cold to a bit concern looking, he bit his lip and gave a mean response.

"Pfft. Figures." He scoffed, looking upwards now.

I didn't know what he meant by that but I found it offensive.

I looked down in embarrassment and bit my upper lip. The boy realized I offended him and his eyes widen. "... Koji."

"Hm...?"

"My name is Koji..."

"O-oh! Nice to meet you!" I tried to be polite, I wanted to get along with the other Blade members.

He started to walk away, probably towards the boys dorms. I starting heading to where I wanted to go to, the dinner hall.

Chase awoken from his nightmare, he was panting like a dog.

"N-No... More. I don't like the pain..! I-it really hurts..!" He muttered to himself, gripping his head.

"Big sister...! Mommy..! Why did you leave me...? I-I! I want to go back to how we used to!"

The door slammed open and Kat walked in, holding a basket of apples. "I got us some snacks, Chase-- chase..? What's the matter?" She walked up to him in a concern matter.

"NO MORE!!!" He screamed at the top of his lungs, he started sobbing. Kat started to panic, this wasn't the first time something like this has happened.

Kat tackled chase in a hug, trying to calm him down. His breathing became quieter and it started to slow down. Finally Kat was able to let go of him.

"Are you alright?" She asked him, still worried.

"Y-yes... I-I'm sorry! I shouldn't panic like that... I'm really S-sorry! Please forgive me!" He begged her, years starting to form again.

She smiled and hugged him. "It's not your fault. Now go to bed. We have a meeting tomorrow."

"Will Lily be there?" He asked, frighten to see her.

"... Yes. But don't worry, she's sorry. And I wouldn't let her near you. Okay? I haven't forgiven her either. But it'll get better."

She turned off the lights and climbed in her bed. She snuggled up with the blankets and let out a small yawn.

They were off to sleep. But Without Kat knowing, Chase was having yet another nightmare.
