Fear Leads to Love

Amusment Park Date

Marinette-
I'm awake before he is, but stay laying in his embrace. I snuggle my nose into his neck, and take a deep breath. Memorizing his smell.
I should make us breakfast.
I shift to push myself up, but Adrien's arm grow tighter, not letting me go.
"Morning." I giggle, smuggling back into his chest.
"Shhhh." He says kissing the top of my head. "Maybe if we don't acknowledge it, it will go away."
"But then we can't celebrate my birthday." I say moving myself up so we're eye to eye.
'That is true." Opening his eyes. "And we need to photograph the beautiful face of yours."
"Why aren't you a flirty kitty this morning."
"Happy Birthday." He smiles.
I move to sit up, but his arms keep me down.
"I'm not letting you go, Lovebug."
"Then I can't make breakfast for you." I giggle.
His arms immediately unravel from my body.
"That's what I thought."
Playfully, I kiss his nose and climb out from under the covers. I then slide off the bed, and head downstairs. Hunter follows me around looking for any scraps of food for him to eat. Pouring a bowl of dog food I set it next to his water dish. Setting a frying pan on the stove and turning on the gas I feel something around my waist. I turn my head to see Adrien place his chin on my shoulder. His messy hair swaying over his emerald green eyes.
"What you making?" He ask.
"I don't know." I reply. "What do you want me to make?"
He ponders the question for a bit then answers. "Eggs."
"Coming right up."
Cracking the eggs on the side of the bowl I drop the yokes inside, and scramble them together. Just then the house phone starts to ring, and I set the bowl down. Answering the phone I say. "Hello?"
"Hi Marinette." Mama says on the line.
"Hi Mama."
"Listen. You father and I just got done watching the new, and ....... Why was there a story about you?"
Oh no.
"I-I-I was meaning to tell you guys, but never got the chance. But I guess this is the best time." I take a deep breath.
"Adrien and I are dating."
Silence.
"That's great!" Papa says from over the phone.
"Really you're not mad?"
"No sweetie." Mama says. "Just happy."
After talking to Mama for couple I hang up and finish making the eggs. Scraping the scrambled eggs onto two plates, and place one in front of Adrien. I sit next to him at the dinning counter, and start to chow down.
"Hmmmmm." Adrien groans. "This is really good."
"Thanks." I say with a mouth full.
After breakfast I head upstairs to change. Changing out of my pajamas I slip on a cotton candy pink dress that goes down to my thigh with a lack pair if leggings that go down to the middle of my shin. I then slide on a white pair of flats and a small white jacket with sleeves that stretch to just above my elbows. Lastly I put a pink headband in my hair, and let it flow past my shoulders. Slipping my purse of my shoulder I walk back downstairs to find Adrien now dressed, talking on the phone.
"Ok." He says to the person on the other line. "See you there."
He hangs up his phone and turns to face me.
"Well, don't you look cute." He smirks.
"Oh I just through this together." I say modestly.
"Designer to the end." He shakes his head. "Let's go."
"But what about Hunter?" I say realizing that can't leave the pup alone.
"Oh, man. I had completely forgot about him." He face palms. "Maybe you could call Alya?"
"I have a better idea."
Quickly I attach the leash to Hunter's collar, and head out the door.
"Where are we going?" Adrien ask, following behind me.
"Before Mama left she said that if I needed anything Mrs. Janis next door would help me." I explain, pinking up Hunter to walk down the stairs. I stop in front of room 19C, and knock on the door. A tall woman not older than 30, answers the door.
"Oh hi Marinette." She says sweetly. "What can I help you with."
She then notices Hunter under my arm.
"Oh why aren't you a cutie." She says breeding over to pet the pup.
"That's why we're here." I explain. "Can you watch Hunter her for a few hours?"
"Sure." She says, as I hand her Hunter. "I still owe you for helping me move in last month."
"Thanks so much." I thank her. "We'll be back later this afternoon."
After she closes the door we walk out of the building. The Gorilla sits in a limo waiting for us. When we get in a dark black window separates us from the buff man in the drivers seat. That leaves Adrien and I cuddle in the back seat, with the occasional kiss here and there. 30 minutes later we pull up to an amusement park, filled too the brim with people.
"Please tell me we get to go on rides." I say excitedly as I look out the window.
"We'll see." Adrien says.
He then opens up the limo door, and gets out. He then walks around to my side, and opens my door. Offering his hand I take, and step out of the limo. Resting my head on his shoulder we walk up to the front gates. At the entrance I notice a with red suspenders taking pictures of the park's sign. Looking up from his camera he sees me a Adrien.
"You came!" He screams, running up to us. He then takes my free hand into a handshake the shakes my whole arm.
"I'm so happy that you came! Now I can capture your love so all of Paris can see!" He exclaims joyfully. "It's so great to be working with you Miss?"
"Marinette." I say, returning my hand to Adrien's arm.
"So what's the plan for today?" Adrien ask.
The man then points to us with both hands. "I want you two to just go and have fun!" He says, then turns to point to the park, and runs off. "We'll be secretly taking picture!" 
I look at Adrien, and he looks at me.
"Is he always that sprightly?" I ask.
"You don't know the half of it." He laughs.
That when it dawned apron me. "I forgot my wallet."
I turn back to walk to the limo
He hiding something, but I drop the subject. We grab our tickets, and head inside.
I can tell this will be one of the best birthdays ever.

A/N: Hey guys! Sorry this came out a little late. I haven't been feeling good, so every time I would write I'd get this headache and feel queasy. Anyway I getting better, not 100% but I'm able to get this chapter out. I hoped you like it. I made some modifications from by book so this is better than that. Trust me.
