Alone But Packed

Chapter 25

*Marie's POV*

I woke up the next morning and looked to the other bed to see if Lizzy was still asleep. I opened my mouth to tell her to get up, when I remembered I wasn't talking to her......

My heart sank a little at this thought because I really did miss my best friend.

I sighed and as quietly as I could I got out of bed and walked into the bathroom. I quickly took a shower and dressed.

I stuffed my hairbrush in my bag as I was walking out of the bathroom. When I looked up, I noticed Lizzy sitting on the edge of her bed looking at her phone. She looked up and we sat there for a few seconds staring at each other, until I looked away and grabbed my shoes. I heard her sigh and walk into the bathroom, while I sat on the bed waiting for  her. Yeah, we were mad at each other, but I would still wait for her.

Fifteen minutes later she walked out of the bathroom, sat on her bed and pulled on her shoes. She stood up, looked around the room and sighed. I walked silently over to the door and she followed quietly behind me, we didn't say anything all they way down to the lobby. When we came into the lobby everyones heads turned towards us immediatly and almost expectantly.

*Lizzy's POV*

Ty gave me a questioning look and I shook my head no in answer to his silent question, and he gave me a sympathetic look. I smiled lightly at him, then looked down at the ground. Marie and I hadn't spoken a single word to each other all morning. I missed my best friend.

Marie walked towards everyone and I followed behind her. She stopped and sat next to Kyle on the couch and rested her head on his shoulder. I sat down next to Josh on the other couch and leaned back and sighed.

"You alright?" Josh asked softly, he had a worried look on his face.

"I'm fine." I said, but my voice sounded more irritated than reassuring.

*Josh's POV*

Lizzy sat next to me and sighed. She looked exhausted and upset about something.

"You alright?" I asked her quietly.

"I'm fine." She sounded irritated and upset.

"Are you guys talking yet?" Cam bluntly asked. He looked from Marie to Lizzy. They looked at each other briefly before looking away again, that meant no.

"Guys, you're best friends, just apologise and forgive each other." Dan said gently.

Marie and Lizzy looked at each other again, except this time instead of looking away, they narrowed their eyes slightly at each other. I knew this was going to turn into a staring competition if someone didn't do something. They are both so stubborn, neither would apologise first.

"Josh." They said in unision without looking away from each other. I sighed, whenever they fight, they have a certain way they "apologise" to each other, instead of apologising right away, they talk about the fight again then apologise for their faults along the way.......yeah, it doens't always work.

Everyone looked at me confused.

"Alright, Lizzy you start." I decided.

"Well, Marie you didn't want me to know something that--" She started.

"Yeah, but you know why I didn't want you to kn--" Marie cut in jumping up from her seat.

"But, I would ha--" Lizzy exclaimed standing up from her seat. Lizzy crossed her arms and Marie put her hands on her hips.

"Guys, if you--" Kyle started to say, but I cleared my throat and coughed to get his attention. He turned to me and I shook my head. He looked confused, but shrugged.
