In the night of the early morning
I cry myself to sleep
There's nothing left for me to do
I am completely beat
My breast rises and falls
I can't feel anything at all
It hurts, it blinds
It's everything in my nightmares
My life, it's fine
But what of this one thing?
For so long I've allowed my heart to swell
But even now, in this pain
I can't bring myself to hate you
I am fallen to misery
Dreams, goals, everything from you
I owe my life to you
So why did this chance fail?
Perhaps it's wishful thinking (a dream)
Perhaps it's meant to be (fate)
I know when the time is right (destiny)
I will finally pay my debt to you (respect)
It hurts, but I'm fine
I will find my way free of this nightmare
My life, it continues
You are an unreachable star
You are my shooting, fleeting star
