The guested cheered as the registrar pronounced Connie and Jacob man and wife.
"You may kiss the bride."
Jacob arm went around her waist as he pulled her close, Connie's hands slid up his chest and around his neck as they kissed for the first time as a married couple.
Grace ran up to embraced them both.
They signed the register to make the marriage legal, all the while people snapped photographs of the three of them. On the way out Jacob held on to Connie's hand, holding her back from everyone else as they filed out.
"Hey, so Mrs Masters, you ok?"
"I'm very ok Mr Masters." As they kissed again.
Jacob took both Connie's in his.
"I love you Connie."
"I love you too." Smiling at each other they set off walking to join everyone else outside. As they walked down the steps the happy couple were covered in confetti and then swept up in hugs and kisses.

The reception was held in the function room at the Maple Tree. Connie had been snowed under at work so Jacob had insisted that he would sort it all, the venue, decorations and food. They had of cause chosen a wedding cake together.
The room looked sophisticated all in white, table clothes, chair covers and bows. He'd even organized beautiful centrepieces for each table with candles.
The couple were the first in the room so they could great their guests as they arrived.
"Jacob? You did all this?" Said Connie as she spun around taking in the room. She stopped to look at Jacob with tears in her eyes.
"This is....I mean....Wow!" Jacob held her close.
"I'll take your lack of words as a compliment." He said in her ear chuckling as he quoted her words back to her.
She hugged him closer. "Thank you, you did good Staff Nurse Masters."
"Thanks boss. Come on let's get this show on the road."

The party was in full swing, everyone not on shift at the E.D had attended. Everyone was in good spirits enjoying the celebrations when Mark asked the D.J for the microphone.
"Hello... hi .... can everyone hear me? I'm not going to waffle on coz Jacob threatened me n well .... he's bigger than me sooo...."
"I'd just like to wish the happy couple all the best and congratulate them on their marriage and the baby. I've know Jacob a long time and I can honestly say I have never seen him this happy. Connie I don't know how you did it but you've managed to turn our Jacob soft." The guests chuckled. "And I know that you two are perfect for each other... can I ask you all to raise a glass to the bride and groom as they share their first dance as husband and wife. To Mr and Mrs Masters!"
"MR AND MRS MASTERS" everyone else cheered.
Connie and Jacob met in the middle of the dance floor as the music started up again. They had chosen I won't give up by Jason Mraz.

When I look into your eyes
It's like watching the night sky
Or a beautiful sunrise
Well, there's so much they hold
And just like them old stars
I see that you've come so far
To be right where you are
How old is your soul?

Well, I won't give up on us
Even if the skies get rough
I'm giving you all my love
I'm still looking up
As
And when you're needing your space
To do some navigating
I'll be here patiently waiting
To see what you find

'Cause even the stars they burn
Some even fall to the earth
We've got a lot to learn
God knows we're worth it
No, I won't give up

As they held held each other close Jacob looked up to see Grace watching from the edge of the dance floor, he motioned to her with his head and Connie looked over. She waved her hand and called her daughter to join them. Grace instantly ran towards then and the three danced together before the rest of the guests joined in.

I don't wanna be someone who walks away so easily
I'm here to stay and make the difference that I can make
Our differences they do a lot to teach us how to use
The tools and gifts we got, yeah, we got a lot at stake
And in the end, you're still my friend at least we did intend
For us to work we didn't break, we didn't burn
We had to learn how to bend without the world caving in
I had to learn what I've got, and what I'm not, and who I am

I won't give up on us
Even if the skies get rough
I'm giving you all my love
I'm still looking up, I'm still looking up.

Well, I won't give up on us (no I'm not giving up)
God knows I'm tough enough (I am tough, I am loved)
We've got a lot to learn (we're alive, we are loved)
God knows we're worth it (and we're worth it)

I won't give up on us
Even if the skies get rough
I'm giving you all my love
I'm still looking up

The song ended and a new one came on but the three of them left the dance floor to say goodbye to a few people before they left for their honeymoon.
