Me: But people smell better than saytars, Grover don't you think I'm right!
Percy: That's once again true. For all except-
Me: You!
Annabeth: You got me let's call it a night!
Sally: Good night. Don't let the bed bugs...
Percy: Mom!
Sally: Fine, sweetie.

I hugged Percy.
"Be safe!" I told him, "Use Riptide when in trouble. Be Careful who you trust. And don't talk to Hera. Areas is still out to get you. Oh, and avoid Mortal Press."
"Some Pep Talk." He replies.
I roll my eyes. "Come back to me Seaweed Brain."
He nodded. He slung his backpack over his shoulder. I watched him walk away, his black hair waving in the wind. He turned back one last time, smiling. His sea-green eyes beamed.

Two Months Later...

"CHIRON!" I screech. "WHERE IS PERUSES JACKSON!"
Chiron simply turned around and said, "I don't know!"
"TELL ME OR THE GODS WILL LOSE THERE IMMORTALITY!"
As if on cue, Rachel came up to hold me back. She forced my hands into handcuffs. He wrestled me back to a bench. We sat down. Her curly red hair was waving in the wind. Her eyes were bright, but not quite happy. She pulled me in for a hug. When she realized that I couldn't hug back, she undid the handcuffs.
She cries. "This is hard on all of us."
I nod. We cry on to each other's shoulders. Of all things. We're separated again.
