There is an ocean. More clear, more sparkly, then I had ever saw. The odd thing was, there wasn't a sea creature for miles. There was a beach. Shells and sea glass shimmered in it, as if it was putting on a show. The sand was white. There was grass, greener than green. It shimmered with dew. Where am I? I'm not sure.
The grass led to a walkway. Stone, that had a glossy finish, led to a garden. Into the garden there was an archway covered in vines. I can see a few plants, when I look at an angle. One looks like what Sally Jackson has in her window. What was it called? Moonlace. But that's impossible how would it get here?At the other end of the island lays a cave. The outside its a rock with an entrance. On the inside was crystal walls, a kitchen. It's a proper home. On the south side of the island, this puzzles me most, is what looks like an attempt to build a raft.
It's night here. The stars are beautiful. The air is clear. Looking more closely at the sand, someone had dug a giant hole. No, not dug. Someone had crashed. An old picnic table destroyed in a giant sand pit. Tiny bits of scrap metal payed around. Right next to it, was a new picnic table.
Sitting there was a boy with Black hair, an orange tee shirt, partially covered by a white toga. Around his neck he had a beaded necklace. When he turned I could see his sea green eyes. I gasp. Perecus Jackson, my boyfriend, is stuck on Ogigiya. Next to him was a young lady. She was weak. Her brown hair and dark skin shine in the moonlight. Her eyes were like Pipers. A million different colours. She wore a green dress. She's asleep, like in a comma.
"Percy!" I call out to him. "Can you hear me?"
Percy looks around, as if he can feel a presence. "Annabeth? I can't hear or see you, but I know you're there."
I'm relieved. Why shouldn't I be? He's okay. For now. He goes back to his slump. Only briefly, though.
Suddenly, some thing shimmers on the beach. As if it's made of stars. It makes out a female figure with a bow in her hand. Also a big man with what looks like a broom. I can't tell exactly, but I feel as if I know one. Once they materialize, I gasp. They seem to be bickering a bit. It's Bob. Bob and a girl. I attempt to run and hug him, but I can't move. I try to yell. Nope. This is why I hate Demigod dreams. When they notice Percy wide eyes staring, they stop.
"Hello there, Percy." Bob says.
"Perseus Jackson." The girl says.
Percy breaks into a grin. "Bob! Zoë!"
"How's Nico doing?" Bob asks
"Just fine!" Percy replies, almost in tears.
"This isn't time to chat. Have you figured out the prophecy yet?" Zoë cuts in.
"Bits and parts. I found the thing no one can own." He said, nodding to the lady. "And I'm guessing you guys are the stars say hello?"
"Indeed. We are here to help you, and to warn you." Zoë says.
"We know where the cursed blade is. It's on the island." Bob cuts in.
"That's brilliant!" Percy says, there's new hope in his eyes.
"But..." Bob starts.
"Time says hello. Your friends are in danger." Zoë tells him. "Kronos is trying get revenge with the little power he has left."
The light in Percy's eyes faded. "Oh. Why can't you warn them?"
Bob smiled. "Hello Annabeth."
I would've frozen more if I could've. "Hi."
I materialized. Percy attempted to hug me. He failed. I was just a projection.
"Ananbeth." He said, hopelessly. "You are here."
I tried for a smile. "We're never apart. Right seaweed Brian?"
"Yeah, Wise Girl." He cried.
We stood there for a minute, though it seemed like hours. We stared at each other until Zoë said. "We must go. But be careful."
The bottom half of her and Bob became the stars.
"Oh and Percy?" She said, flashing him one last sad look.
"Huh?"
"I will see you again. By the dam snack-bar." She smiled.
"Yeah. I'll see you by the dam."
By then she was gone, dissolved into light. I started to go to. "By seaweed brain!" I called out desperately into the night.
"Bye Wise girl!" He shouted back, trying to grasp my hand
When I woke up I was in a cold sweat. When I sat up it was worse. A pain shot through my leg.
"Let's fix you up." Grover said to me.
I nodded, relieved.
