Danny Phantom: Am I In Love With Skulkers Daughter? (Editing)

What am I feeling?! (E)

THIS ENTIRE CHAPTER WILL BE TOLD FROM DANNY'S POV.
I wake up feeling oddly happier than normal once I roll out of bed and brush my teeth and get dressed I get a ghost sense. 'Uhh......Oh....' I think to myself I transform into a ghost and become intangibile then go straight to my basement. Of course all this was wasted since it was only (F/n) in ghost form. I quickly turn intangibile yet again and go back to my room. But not before I see a white mist come out of her mouth. Once I get up stairs I turn human once again and (F/n) floats through the floor. "Hi Danny whatcha doin'." she asks. "Nothing just getting ready for school, you?" I try to sound nonchalant. "Oh well I was going to head to school." she says. "Acctually I'll see you at school." she says and flys out my window.
"Stupid. Stupid. Stupid." I tell myself as I hit my head on the wall reapeatedly. "Danny, that girl from yesterday is here to walk with you to school." mom yells up the stairs. My heart starts to beat a little faster I take another look in the mirror to make sure that I look at least pre-WAIT- what am I doing she is just a friend.

I blow off my nervousness grab my back pack and run down stairs. "Hi Danny." (F/n) says. "You ready for school?" she asks I notice her brown paper bag in her hand and feel guilty. "Um.... I was going to eat. Would you like to join me?" I ask her wanting to eat breakfast. Her cheeks go pink and she looks away I pretend not to notice or feel my heart beat faster when she says "Yeah sure."
I lead her to the kitchen and she sits next to me as we eat ceral. Needless to say I am a bit more than embarrassed by mom and dad constantly talking about how their going to catch a ghost and Jazz telling them that I should be raised by a normal family. At the mention of catching ghosts I looked at her to see her reaction but she showed no sign of fear or anything. She sensed me looking at her and looked at me. "You okay Danny?" (F/n) asks. "F-fine." I stutter my face becoming as red as a tomato. Jazz elbows me and (F/n) raises her eyebrows. "Uh...W-we should go." I say and take her wrist to drag her out of the house.

Once outside I slow my pace "Are you okay for sure, Danny?" She asks feeling my forehead. "I'm all good are you okay with all the ghost hunting stuff?" She nods and we continue peacefully until we get passed by Dash and them all. "Aww... Look Fenturd has a girlfriend." Paulina laughs and shouts something as they pass trying to spray us with mud from the puddle on the side of the road. Luckily (F/n) put up a forcefeild type of thing and we didn't get wet.

I notice we are still holding hands the same time she does but neither of us let go. 'What is this? What am I feeling?' I ask myself. We walk along but since we left earlier than I normally do Sam and Tucker didn't meet us on the way. The walk to school is silent but not akward just peacefull. "Hey Danny?" (F/n) asks about half way to school. "Hmm?" I lazily hum a response "Why do you let Dash bully you?" she tilts her hear ever so slightly. "I can't necessarily do anything about it." I tell her. "Yes you can I can tell your stronger than you let on." You have no idea. "Mm."
The walk falls back into silence and by this time school is in sight. Once at school the torture starts "Hey Fenturd." Dash exclaims "Hows your new girlfriend?" I ignore him but he then makes a comment that makes me very angry. "She had a chance with me but turned me down she has to be stupid." With out thinking, I walk calmly to Dash and punch him in the face. He falls back from the table he is sitting on and grabs for his nose. I turn around and walk back to a smiling (F/n).

We walk to our lockers which conveniently are located pretty close to each other. We both empty our stuff into the lockers and wait for Sam and Tucker to show up. After a few minutes they both show up "Hey guys have you seen Dash today his nose is all swollen and bloody." Tucker states me and (F/n) share a knowing glance and start to snicker. "What happened?" Sam asks looking at us as if were crazy. "Nothing much except Danny decked Dash the doofus." (F/n) says making Sam and Tucker double over laughing. "Danny hit Dash?" Tucker asks "Haha you're killing me." "I'm not joking." (F/n) states seriously. They both stop. "Really?" Sam asks me "Yeah." "Wow... What did he say?" I look at the floor praying for a distraction. But just then my ghost sense goes off. (F/n) steps into an open locker and a black flash goes off and she emerges in ghost form. "I should probably go help." I tell them.

Time skip because I'm lazy and it is 3 in the morning.

It was the box ghost. And he was scarred of (F/n) I think she has a reputation in the Ghost Zone. Wow. School just got out and currently me Sam and Tucker are on our way home we are talking when I tell my self that I need to pull (F/n) from the side of the road. She was walking on the edge of the curb arms out to the sides like an airplane. I look over at her to just barely see her foot slip off the edge just as I hear a car approaching fast. Everything moves in slow motion her fall and the car. Suprising my self I grab her hand at inhuman speeds and pull her back up. But she is standing on my pants leg and we both topple backwards in to a lawn. Just as the car pulls up "Hey guys check out the Fenturd couple." Dash yells and the all laugh.

(F/n) stiffens and starts to stand along with me as Dash drives away laughing like a maniac and Paulina cackling like a witch in the passenger seat. (F/n) looks after them a murderous glint in her eyes she gets into a running position but before she can leave totally and make the biggest mistake of her life, I take her hand in mine sending her a look telling her 'Their not worth it.' She smiles and straightens. Sam clears her throat and me and (F/n) jump apart letting go of each others hands. I blush which makes (F/n) blush which makes me blush more.

That was embarrasing.

"So...umm... I don't have to be home for a while you guys want to get something to eat?" (F/n) asks not looking at me the blush finnally draining from cheeks. We all mumble a 'yeah' and head to Nasty Burger. Once we have our food we sat at a random booth Sam and Tucker Across from me and (F/n).

"This is my first time eating food that wasn't prepared in the Ghost Zone." (F/n) announced randomly. "Wow..." we chorus together.

(F/n) picks up her burger and takes a bite her eyes widening Sam, Tucker, and I watch with amusement. "Is it as good as your food at home?" Sam asks. (F/n) nods and sets her burger down to wipe her face. As soon as she sets her napkin down a green mist comes out of her mouth as a blue one comes out of mine. "Hide me." she tells us. Sam and Tucker jump in front of her and she ducks behind them. "Ghost child I have come for you." Skulkers deep voice breaks through everything followed by screaming.

(F/n) pops her head above the booth and mouths something. As soon as Skulker sees her he turns away and flies out once he is gone (F/n) sits up fully. She breaths a sigh of relief. We all shoot her questioning looks.

"Why didn't you turn into a ghost and talk to him and why did you hide he is your dad." Tucker asks. "If I went ghost someone could have seen and I'm not necessarily sposed to be wearing this." She replies sheepishly looking at her red shirt cut off at the elbows on the sleeves showing her tan stomach. We nod as understanding and go back to eating our food.

**TIME SKIP***

I am walking back to my house with (F/n) we already droped of Sam and Tucker and now it was silent but it wasn't akward. Just peaceful. "Stay right here I'll be right back 'kay?" she asks turning to go into an alleyway. I nod and turn my back looking for people passing when a black and I mean pitch black light flashes from behind me. (F/n) emerges from the alley a large black hoodie on and the hood up. "Why'd you do that?" I ask. "I'll be going home soon not to mention I was....wondering if.....you wanted to...umm...fly with me?" she blushes and looks at her feet. I try key word...try...to keep calm "I-I c-can't f-fly though." I stutter. How did she know? "I can c-carry you." she offers. "O-okay." I blush. Then before I can register whats happing I am 50 feet off the ground.
