The Only Reason

Chapter 11

"Cal,I don't wanna do this,people are going to hate me,"I whined as Ash sat next to me on his box drum.

"You'll be fine,everyone will love you,"he protested.

"Jewels,the song is amazing and so is the music that goes with it,everyone will love it,"Ash reassured.

"Okay,I'm starting it,"Cal said as he started the video.

Once we finished,we looked over the footage and they posted it to my own account.We then went upstairs to get food,but when we got up there,I just wanted to leave.Luke was standing in the kitchen as he tried making scrambled eggs.I moved him out of the way and made them myself so he didn't burn down the house.Once I finished,I turned the stove off and walked to the fridge.I grabbed a yogurt and walked to the living room and sat on the floor while Ash and Cal laughed at me.

"What are you two laughing at,"I asked as I turned to the two boys.

"You could've sat on the couch or one of the chairs,but instead you chose the floor,"Cal says.

"Hey,it'll be easier to clean up if I spill on the floor than the clean furniture,"I said.

"You're so weird,"Ash said as he patted my head.

"I know,but that's why you guys love having me around,"I said.

After awhile of watching tv,the boys suggested going out to the amusement park.Once we got there,we all went towards rides as Mikey went for the food and would find us later.We got on a few roller coasters,then went to get food and found Mikey still there eating.We got our food,then went to play some games.

"I'm going to win myself a giant penguin,"I said as I walked over to the ring toss.

"How much for the giant penguin,"I asked.

"You need to get a ring around 5 bottles and you get 5 rings for 3 dollars,"the man said.I gave him a five and threw my rings.I got 3 rings around some bottles,so Cal,Ash,and Mikey helped me.After a couple more tries,we finally won the giant penguin.

"Fuck yeah,this is sleeping next to me on my bed,"I said as I carried the penguin that was about as tall as me.I was only 5 feet tall and the penguin was 4.5,so I had trouble walking with it.Cal took it so I could actually walk as we won more prizes.

After a little bit,we stopped playing games because we had too many things to carry.We had a whole bunch of stuffed animals,so they gave us a few bags to put them in.

"Lets ride the ferris wheel before we leave,"I said as we pasted it.Right now it was around 12 at night and our dad wanted us home at 12:30.

"Fine,everyone find a riding partner and the extra person can either make a group of three or ride by their self,"Cal said.

"I'm with Mikey,"I said as I grabbed his arm.

"Come on Luke,you're with me,"Ash said.

"Well,Jewels and Mikey like to rock the seats and I hate that so I'm riding by myself,"Cal said.I ran towards it as the boys talked.

Once I got on,Mikey came on,but instead of him sitting,he grabbed Luke and pushed him on as they started it up.I turned away as he tried to speak.

"Can you just listen to me for 5 minutes,"Luke about yelled.

"I don't know,you might think that I don't trust you,"I snapped at him.

"Why won't you let me talk without having you yell at me,"he snapped back.At this point,I was facing him and I wasn't giving him a nice stare either.

"Because I over reacted and you dumped me because of it and that hurt a lot.How would've you felt if Gavin came over to my house and gave you my shirt saying what Stacy told me,"I snapped back.

"I would've let you explain first,"he growled.

"Lies,I don't know why I fell for you in the first place.You're a dick and I'll forever hate you because of this Luke Hemmings,"I snapped as the ride slowly came to a stop.I got off and walked away from the boys.I called my dad and he agreed to pick me up.I texted Cal that dad was giving me a ride so he didn't have to worry.

Once my dad got here,I got in and we headed home.I just put my ear buds in and listened to music.Not long after,he tapped on my shoulder and I took one ear bud out and looked at him.Well,it was dark so I couldn't really see his face.

"What happened honey,"he asked.

"Luke and I got in a huge fight.Things were said that I wish weren't,"I said.

"Do you want to tell me what those things were,"he asked.

"The boys put me and Luke on the ferris wheel together and he wanted to talk,but I didn't so I snapped a little,so he blamed everything on me.Then I admitted that I shouldn't have over reacted when we were together and he hurt me when he broke up with me over it.I told him to look at things through my eyes.He said he would've let me explain,but I was angry and frustrated with him so I said that was a lie and I didn't know how I fell for him in the first place.I called him a dick,said I'll forever hate him because of that,and walked away,"I explain as my dad listened.

"Well,he was pushing you by yelling first,so you had every-dad,look out,"I cut my dad off because there was a drunk driver on the wrong side of the rode.My dad was looking at me,so he didn't see the car,but when he did,the car smashed right into ours.I soon blacked out after I hit my head.The lasted thing I saw was my dad bleeding while I had a piece of metal piercing my stomach,but not deep enough to kill someone.
