The Only Reason

Chapter 26

When lunch started,I waited by the doors for the girls because I remembered I didn't put money in their accounts.When I saw them,I grabbed their arms and pulled them to where me and Lydia were standing.

"I forgot to put money in all of our accounts,so where do you guys wanna go to eat,"I said.

"Lets go to McDonalds,"Mallory about yelled.

"Yeah,"Lauren agreed.

"Okay,well lets go,"I said as they followed me and Lydia to my car.I drove with Lydia in the passenger seat with the girls in the back.

"Mallory,Lauren,this is Lydia,"I said.

"Hey,"they said in unison.

"Hello,"Lydia said with a smile.

"Lydia this is Mallory and Lauren,"I said pointing at each girl.

"You guys remind me of our friendship,"Lydia said pointing at us.

"How so,"Lauren asked.

"There's one tall and one short and the short always asked for help when it comes for reaching the top shelf and tall one asked for help when it comes to tight spaces,basically the best friendship combo,"Lydia said.

"The worst part is that's so true,"Mallory said.

Once we got there,we ordered and went back,but ate in the car before going inside.We all went our separate ways to get to our classes.After school,Lydia and the girls met me at my car.Once everyone was there,Lydia went to her car and followed me.We stopped at the store and Lydia insisted on paying for everything and since Lydia doesn't take no for an answer,she bought everything.We got to the house and we found some funny movies and watched them while we ate ice cream.We only watched one because we had to do homework,so we all sat on the living room floor and did it.

After a few hours,Lydia went home and I started dinner.We ate and once the girls were done,they went to watch some tv before they went to bed.While I was cleaning,I remembered that I forgot to call Cal,so I quickly dialed his numbered and he picked up after a few rings.

"Hello,who the hell is calling at 3 in the fucking morning,"Cal whined.

"Fine,I'll call back later,"I said.

"No wait,don't hang up,"he rushed.

"Why'd you want me to call,"I asked.

"I wanted to make sure you got home safe,"he said.

"Well I did,but give me on sec,"I said.

"Girls,it's getting a bit late,why don't you go lay down,I don't care if you stay up a bit longer,but go to your rooms so you don't fall asleep down here,"I called.

"Okay,"they say in unison.

"Alright I'm back,"I said.

"Who were you talking to,"Cal asked.

"Long story,"I said.

"Well,I'm wide awake right now,so I've got some time,"he said.I explained to him everything that happened from the time I got to the airport till now.

"Oh,okay,I thought you were going crazy for a second there,"he said with a chuckle.

"Wow,but I have to go,I got school tomorrow,I'll call you tomorrow,"I said.We said our goodbyes and I went to bed.

I got home and called Cal on video chat.He picked up after a few rings and he had Ash and Mikey with him.
