I was sitting in my kitchen and having lunch which I had planned to have with Mr CEO but since he is a CEO he got call from office
#One hour earlier #
"It's lunch time and our coffee plan was spoilt because I had sudden meeting so why not we have lunch together now?" he came to the point directly
"Ummm sure" I agreed because I hadn't had breakfast and if I go home and start cooking then it will get late!
I went to my bike and I was gonna get on it but Mr CEO stopped me
"What are you doing?" he asked me
"Sitting on my bike, duh!" I turned and answered
"No, you are not! You are coming with me in my car!"
"Ya right! And my bike will come flying to the restaurant till we eat because I'll need it to go home! " I shouted
"I will drop you home" he growled "just come with me!"
"And what if you get call from work and then you will have to go?" I asked
"Even if it happens, I will make sure you reach home! Now come!" he was gonna catch my hand but I moved it away
"If you want me to come with you then you sit on my bike! I will not come in car! You sit on the bike!" I ordered
His face turned red with anger as he heard me. His body was shaking - I mean really shaking
Something I had only seen in movies. But his eyes met mine and after a few seconds he calmed down
"You don't get to tell me what to do or what not to do! " he hissed
"If you are gonna tell me what to do and what not to then I, too, will tell you! You must be my brother's boss and CEO of a company but to me you are just an ordinary guy. NOT MY BOSS! " I yelled
"Nobody, I mean NOBODY talks me and orders me like that!" he was very agitated
He said it in a low voice but that actually added to the horror.
But, you see, I am not someone who would accede to people who threaten me
That ignites the fire within me
"Well, get use to it because I treat people the way they treat me! If you are gonna be rude then so am I! If you'll be sweet then I'll be the sweetest!" I shouted " I am NOT coming in your car!"
"Oh well you are!! And I am not sitting behind you! "
"I don't about your male ego getting hurt because you are not caring about my female ego getting damaged by sitting with you in car"
"You are-" he had to stop because his phone rang
"WHAT!?" he snapped
"What! You called to know if I am okay! Well, Christian, consider yourself fired"
My mouth hung open
After hearing from other side for 20 seconds or so he cooled down and said
"Fine! I am coming now, get the conference room ready " he commanded
As soon as he cut the call I started
"First of all, there are very few people who care about us and our moods and the fact that you are so arrogant helps you get even more less of those so be thankful to who ask about you! You can't just fire them! And second of all, I am okay with our lunch getting cancelled because looks like we cannot do anything together so-"
