Ashton was stunned, shocked. He couldn't react for a second there. Thank Luna goddess he was werewolf and could react faster then humans. He turned around and caught Rachel's wrist pulling her in his arms. She looked into his eyes. There was no doubt she was hurt as much as he was. "Don't do this, Elle! I love you and I know you like me. Please give me another chance! I am really very sorry for the way I reacted. I was stressed out about things and seeing you in someone else's arms brought the worst out of me. I know you don't forgive someone who hurt you but it's me who is deeply sorry: your Ashey! Please forgive me. I'll never doubt on you again"
"What is the guarantee? You had promised me while proposing me that you'll keep up all the rules I had made yet you broke it! Trust is a fuel to any relationship and that is not there between us! "Okay" her one word brought back the sparkle of Ashton's eyes. But it dimmed as soon as she followed with her words "only if you stay away from me for one year without any contact, and mind-link reading! Without asking anyone about where I am or how I am doing"
He started at her face, confused and hurt.
"Tell me, can you do it? Can you keep away from me for one year's time? If you can then I promise you I won't be with any guy in that span of time and come back to you after one you. Can you do it?
No, you can't! Because you don't trust me. You'll assume I Ann with someone else! This, us, is impossible, Ashton" She turned around only to be stopped by Ashton's next words "I'll do it"
She turned around and looked at him. "I'll do it" he repeated "but you have to also promise me that you'll not sneak out at night and have these two for twenty four hours a day"
He motioned to his left where a car came into halt from a distant. She could see Lucas and some other guy in the car. From their conversation earlier this morning she guessed he was Lucas' mate: Dylan.
"I promise you I'll not talk to them about you." He continued " If you want I'll never contact them. But because of your safety you'll be with them. Please promise me"
Because of the mental pressure she needed time to take this big decision. She wasn't sure in what needs to be done. She sure wanted to say no thinking of some one... two dwelling her around all the time for one whole year but... She loved Ashton! She took almost sixty seconds, which felt like sixty hours to Ashton, to take the decision. "Okay, but even if we accidentally meet you have to act unknown to me."She asked for his agreement.
After a little of talks, agreement was made. He was never to see her or contact her or try to know about her for one year and even if they did meet accidentally then he had to act as though there was nothing between them. She would have those both: Lucas and Dylan wherever she goes.
"We'll meet after one year in the forest" Rachel whispered then turned around to walk away. Ashton tried to walk away but he couldn't. He watched her as she walked away from him. This would be the last of her he would see until next year this time.

She halted in the mid of her way and turned around. She had to do that one job that would bring a little hope to this relationship that is already hopeless. She walked to him and kissed him deeply, putting her hands on his chest with him replying with same feeling, same eagerness and hands around her waist.
They pulled back and Rachel whispered "I love you, Ashton Danvers" before walking away.
And this time she didn't turn around or wasn't being turned around.Rachel shut the door as tears stream down her cheeks. She couldn't handle the weight of her body so sat down with her hands covering her crying face.
