I know this cannot be passed as a reason to procrastinate but college is so overwhelming, especially when you're a fresher! Dear God!
Which is why I've prepared a feast for you all at the media section.
The only thing I can say about this chapter is that it's visually pleasing.
===========
My forehead was resting against the curve of Ashton's neck while my arms and legs were wrapped around him as he walked back to the pack house, at least that was what the information I had come to acquire, his arms around my body to prevent my falling. My tearful eyes looked at all the wolves following us. The one in the front, brown one, made eye contact with me and I knew it then it was going to eat me alive once we reached our destination. It's angry stare boring into mine.
Dispite the situation, I made face at him when I realized who it was, those familiar eyes were hard to miss.
"He just loves you" Ashton muttered
"And right now, he's pissed at me."
"He's a brother. He can't help but worry about his only sister who ran into danger without any protection." Ashton's tone changed from calm to having an undertone of anger.
"I know I made a mistake, I am sorry." I apologised in a sad tone.
"In all honesty, the only reason why I'm not taking all of my anger out is because you prevented a major break out." he sighed as he jumped over a broken branch of tree "There was going to a huge war between us and those blood sucking assholes if they didn't give up. I was going to call in every one of my people and behead them. This prevented that from happening."
The fact that he is the king of the world of werewolves is still overwhelming. He has the capability to summon every one of them and they could not even say no.
"But this also brought attention to you." he finished
"How?"
"That is for later, why don't you take a nap, you are tired and sleepy."
"And yet somehow you aren't even a bit tired, tensed though." I marked, sensing his emotions, trying to get to his thoughts but failing miserably.
Giving up, I closed my eyes and let the tiredness take over.
Waking up to cheers and shouts is worse than alarm clock ringing.
Actually, scratch that, worst way to wake up would be the annoying ringing taking over your peaceful slumber.
I heard loud mumbles of words as I stirred and opened my eyes. The first thing that hit me was the immense sunlight making it's escape inside from the window. I recognised it to be Ashton's bed. This was the first bed that we shared together.
The second thing that hit me was when the loud cheers became louder and unrecognisable words were taking over my senses.
Then I remembered, it hit me, the happenings of yesterday.
I got up with a jolt and looked at the window from where the voice was coming.
"You idiot!" two arms gobbled my tiny body as I awkwardly petted my brother's head.
"Were you out of your god damn mind!" he began to shout " what were you even thinking!"
The door opened and in flowed my dear birth giver, Ashton's mom and Ver with Albert on her heels. They all replaced Ron.
Whispers, angry and caring words floated in the room as they looked at me with disbelief. I stayed silent as they went on on how I shouldn't have risked my life or got in danger. I looked around the room to ignore their hard stare but realised soon enough that it wasn't in fact Ashton's old room. The setting was similar but not same. The balcony was missing.
