CH 45 FIFTEEN-MINUTES-TURNED-INTO-ONE-HOUR

He got down on his knees
"Last time and my first time I got on my knees was to purpose you and now I have the same reason. Rachel, I love you, there no second thought in that. But I was stupid enough to doubt on your loyalty. I have learnt that a relationship is not  based on only love but trust, sacrifice, and some other synonyms but now that you have given me a chance I'll prove myself to you. Rachel Wilander, will you please be my girlfriend, again?"

I got on my knees and said, "I want to apologise too for making you stay away from your mate for six months. Though you really deserved it but I think I just overdid it. Anger got the worst out of me. All these six months I have been scolding myself for the agreement. It was very natural of you to think I was kissing Eric back and those things I said before to send you off was because I wanted to tell Sam about our relationship. He is a really an important figure of my life and I hadn't told him about us. But it added up to your doubt. It was very natural of you to react that way but I think I became too dramatic. I am sorry. And...I... I... you see... I.. I am in love with you! There! I said it!" I shrugged

"I am in love with you too!" He hugged me in that position

"Now can we eat already! I have said 'let's eat' like trillion times" I cried out
"Okay okay" he finally agreed
After stuffing our stomach with food I walked out of his cave. I sat in my desk thinking about the lunch. It was good because I did it with Ashton. I was just so happy we were back to normal!

I ignored that and got to work. After what seemed like three days I heard V's voice, "Rachel!"
"Yeah..." I looked at her who was leaning on my table
"Did you forget we have a meeting with the CEO of the company in just 30 minutes! How can you be so careless? I am freaking out!" She caught many eyes because of her loud voice. It's wasn't the loud voice that caught the main attention but the emotion I am guessing.
"Oh yeah!" Flashbacks of her telling me about this meeting on the phone came back

"Well... get to work! Please get everyone there on time! You are the only responsible person... no wait! You suck at timing! Don't bother about getting everyone on time, you please be on time. And please don't mess anything up when you are explaining anything to him. This is really important! He is the CEO after all. I remember the last time he fired many people together because they weren't perfect in their speech and he thought they weren't needed in the company." She ordered
I got out of my seat and made her sit there. "Now take a deep breath" I asked her
"Rachel,I don't have time for this..."
"Shut up! Take a deep breath!" I ordered
"Rachel, you know I am your boss! You..."
"Shh! See, if you stress and work then you'll not be able to finish anything on time because your stress will slow you down. So, take a deep breath and let it go like you are letting your problems go." I explained. She did what I asked her to do then then we both got back to our work.

It became more fun when I realised I just have 25 minutes before seeing Ashton... I mean Mr Parker. Nickolas Parker. Now that I think of it I really like the name. My phone beeped indicating me to check the message app.

The message was 'I think you should get back to work instead of dreaming about my other name' by some unknown private number
'What the hell, Mr AND, how did you get my number!' I traced back
'Babe, did you forget I am actually your boss's boss's boss? I have all the rights to look into anyone's profile. Now get to work because I don't spar anyone when it comes to work and I want perfect presentation' He texted back
'Rude much? Anyway, I didn't need your support to nail this presentation. I know I'll impress you because I am amazing at my work. Wait a minute! You were reading my thoughts! Ashton! That's bad!' I hit sent
'I missed your thoughts,I couldn't help it! I know you will impress me. I have faith in you. All the best! Bye.' He sent back
'Bye' I kept my phone aside and got to work.
