We arrived to the hotel when my brother said
"Why don't you go inside while we park the car"
"Sure" I got out with my bag
"By the way, reservation is by Mr Danvers name"
"But I thought it was Nor's"
"Well, getting a reservation from Mr Danvers name is easy in such a huge restaurant"
"Fine"
I walked to the entrance but before I could go further a guy stopped me
"I am so sorry mam but you can't enter without reservation" he gave a flirting smile
"Reservations for Mr Danvers"I said
His face turned serious
"Name and ID please"
When I showed him, his behaviour changed to 180 degree and he apologied for enquiring me
"That's fine, you were doing your job" I assured him
"Ma'am please don't tell Mr Danvers that I made you take out your ID, I will loose my job" he was walking me to the table
"Why would you loose your job if I tell Ash... I mean Mr Danvers?"
"Maybe you don't know but he owns this restaurant and he had personally instructed us to not question his guests" his voice was trembling
"I won't" I smiled
He took me to a special place where I could see Ashey and Ver
Looks like she took my warning pretty seriously
"Hey Ver" that caught her attention to me from phone and Ash looked up from his
"Hey Rach" she got up and gave me a handshake
"You came" I remarked
"I had to show my face though I am busy or you would have kidnapped" she chuckled
"About that" I smiled nervously "Could you please not tell anyone about last night?"
"Don't worry, I won't be able to because I am leaving. I have a meeting and I just came to show my face" she took her bag
"I wish you could stay" I told her
"I wish that too but I am getting late" she smiled" Bye Rachel"
"Bye"
"No Tata this time?" she teased
"No" I chuckled
She walked away and I took a seat next to Mr busy bee
"Hi Rachel" he greeted me without even looking at me
"Hey Ashey" I know he hates that name
He growled
"Call me Ash" he looked at me
"Okay Ashey"
"Ash" he corrected
"Okay, but on one condition! You need to forget about yesterday night"
He was thinking for a few seconds and then he said "I think I like Ashey"
"And I hate you" I confessed
"Did I say I am deep love with you?" he asked, smirking "Where is your brother?"
"Parking lot with Jenn "
"Explains the reason why he didn't show up till now"
And then there was silence
"Thanks" I broke the silence "For yesterday night and not leaving me in that condition"
"But what were you thinking, Rach, anything could have happened to you! The world is not safe! Why do you sneak out at nights and why do you drink so much, alone?" he asked
"Well, it's... Dad! I miss him" I looked away and blinked my tears away
"call me next time you sneak out, and no breaking your promise" he warned
"I rarely sneak out and I have tried that much alcohol only twice or thrice, so chill" I told him "You own this hotel, huh?"
"Ya" his answered
"Sir, ma'am, what would you like to have" a waiter came and asked
"Not now, we are waiting for our friends to join"
He bowed his head and said "That's alright"
"I think your brother went home" he whispered
"Hum, I think I should call him and check" I took my phone out
"Rachel" he greeted me as soon as he picked up my call
"Where are you?" I asked
"Ummm, parking lot. Rach, you mind if we go home, Jenn is not felling well" he lied
"Nope, her health is important" I replied
"Thanks, I will call Nor and tell her too" he cut the call
