It took Amaya a good ten minutes before she felt comfortable enough to re-emerge from hiding, all the while she'd been too wound up to notice that the sleeves of her shirt had been rolled back down to her wrists, even as she'd washed her face with water to try and bring that nervous blush down. She looked normal, for the most part, face still a little red but for the most part entirely normal.
She vaguely registered that a drawing rampage had been carried out in class while she was asleep, but she didn't know who'd been drawn on, or what everyone looked like now.
Not much else occurred to her as she stepped into the hallways of the building once again.
The chatter of voices echoed brightly, not the least bit bothered about the fact that Irina had just shot up the classroom in a fit of rage.
Energetic, bright, an environment that still felt rather foreign to Amaya, even though she had just spent the most part of three months being a part of.
It was a good atmosphere for Reiko right now.
However it almost always overwhelmed Amaya if she wasn't braced for it.
If she was preoccupied, it just made her inevitable confusion even worse.
Amaya let out a breath as she slid open the classroom door, glancing around for sign of Reiko's location before she stepped inside.
Her sister was talking amiably with Isogai, presumably because she'd made the connection that he was the older brother of her friend, and Maehara was nearby in connection with the conversation.
Karma was nowhere in sight.
He probably decided to go skip or something, like he often did.
All Amaya could do was sigh at the thought as she made her way towards her desk.
So for all the meddling Koro-sensei had done to have her come back to class again, it appeared that Koro-sensei wasn't doing any real teaching.
He was still filled with energy over the events of the morning while Amaya'd been asleep, seeming to brim with excitement and happiness despite getting shot up by Irina.
Well, at least Reiko appeared to be quite happy and brighter than she had been yesterday - Amaya couldn't really ask for more than that.
Though she found herself almost immediately wondering upon Yuta now that Reiko was feeling much better, and she couldn't help it.
She wondered where Karma had taken him, what had been said, and more than anything else, if the boy was doing okay.
Amaya was a hands-off kind of guardian, doing everything that needed to be done but never interfering with the way that her siblings wanted to spend their time for the most part.
She wondered if maybe this emotional turnaround with Yuta was created because of the way she let them do what they wanted to.
If it was, then there was honestly nothing she could do about it.
Hell, there wasn't really anything she could do about it right now.
She hung her head slightly, running her hands over her face as she found herself dwelling on the incident that had taken place just yesterday afternoon.
Why had Yuta thrown such a sudden fit at her?
And why had he felt the need to go through her belongings?
Something had to of bothered him - He wouldn't have gone through her belongings if he didn't have a reason. He was always rather naggy, but he never went through her room before, as far as she knew in any case.
