Maehara was still pestering her all through that night, though his attempts came in emails and calls instead of his previous attempt at running head-first into the front door of her house.
Emails begging her to not sell the boys out to the girls, among other things.
And all the while, even though she shook her head with a wry smile at the emails, Karma was the one who was most enjoying the small piece of havoc she had caused.
After he managed to pester Amaya enough into showing him the recording she'd taken, he'd been in an eerily good mood all afternoon.
There was nothing that needed to be explained – The recording she took basically answered all questions one could have about it.
And so, Amaya was left more or less to get her self-imposed chores done in peace, while Karma seemed to disappear somewhere in the house.
She paid little mind to that however.
The events of the following day were in essence no different, from Samuel's worsening mood through to the perverted intentions of the bulk of the boys in class.
However, it appeared that somebody had let it slip, and by the time Amaya had wandered into the classroomm just in time to see Nakamura, Kataoka and a couple of the other girls had rounded on a rather guilty looking Okajima. Karma, who'd been a few minutes ahead of her was already walking back out of the classroom with Itona following, and he gave her presence no more response than a glance as he walked right past her.
'Did Maya-chan tell you?!' She'd heard Maehara exclaim.
'What the--?!' Nakamura exclaimed, just as the girls had whirled around to look at Amaya. 'You knew and didn't tell us?!'
Amaya shook her head with a wry smirk as she made her way towards her desk.
'I never specifically said that I would tell anyone anything at any point in time, though it's still their fault.' Amaya dismissed as she sat down, though she glanced at the window for a moment. 'Any sane bastard would have decided to quit the first time they'd been caught red-handed, especially on video. They've only got themselves to blame for their stupidity.'
'B-but you knew and didn't tell us!'
'I already knew you would have gotten pissy at me for bringing it up.' Amaya carelessly dismissed, burying her hands in her pockets. 'As it stands, if I'd known you'd get this bad, I would have just stayed home, today.'
Really, she should have turned around and followed Karma out of the classroom.
And so, the matter was left to drop, more or less.
The day passed by with no further incident, though the girls did appear to be a little miffed with her lack of concern over the pervert incident.
Not that Amaya really cared either which way.
The girls should really expect this kind of incident when they all walked around in horribly short skirts all the time. Kanzaki at least wore leggings with her uniform at the very least.
Sometimes, Amaya felt like the girls just got oversensitive about the stupidest things.
Karma and Itona didn't come back at all, and in fact it appeared they skipped the whole day.
Nothing of importance happened, nothing all that out of the ordinary.
The only thing that she really took note of was the fact that Kimura up at the front seemed to cough here and there, as if he was coming down with a bit of a cold.
