Okay guys, your author has to level with you here. I need you guys to keep an open mind - I adore all the kind words and understand that you guys might not mean very much by it, but its something that does make me reluctant to update as quick as I usually do.

"You and your cliffhangers..."

"You seriously love using those damn cliffhangers on us"

"STAPH WITH THE CLIFFHANGERS!!!"

Yes, I am quoting just a few of countless comments. And I have counted every comment that has contained the term "cliffhanger" in Marionette. Some of you guys comment things with "nice chapter" or other like remarks, but they don't really help when the bulk of the comment really is a remark about a cliffhanger.

58 of them in the whole Skies Arc / Book 2 alone. 63 in this whole entire book, and counting. Yes, I really did go through and count them before I wrote this.

Sure one here or there is fine and everything - I understand when people get so involved in a chapter that you don't want to stop reading, and seriously I love that you guys can get so involved in a story I've written. It's one of the biggest compliments ever.

But you know, seeing over and over again remarks about cliffhangers gets really old after a while - Especially with two chapters in particular having at least ten separate cliffhanger remarks each.

I try my best to update at least once a week. I honestly try to submit full chapters, and I try my absolute best to not have it end in the middle of an event. Have you noticed yet just how I try to stop this from happening?

Most chapters, if they end in what you call a cliffhanger, they end when Amaya goes to sleep or the day ends, or even if she passes out. And to avoid the long wait between chapters, haven't you guys ever noticed that usually if I end a chapter right in the middle of a crucial event, I almost always have the next chapter typed up for you in less than three days?

Haven't you ever noticed that?

And then there's the other reason why it bothers me to receive 'cliffhanger' comments: Novels always end with set amount of content in each chapter, and half of those chapters are what you'd consider 'cliffhangers' if you guys had to wait for the chapters to be submitted like with these stories. But you guys don't have to wait for those next chapters, because you've already got them in the printed medium in your hands right at those moments, right?

Its honestly impossible to find a book that doesn't come with at least one cliffhanger.

So please, just chill a little with it, you guys. Please? I don't mean to complain so much, and in fact I really try not to. Its just this is one of those things that feels a little like a backhanded compliment. You know what I mean?

I'd really appreciate it...
