"You have now successfully reached my phone, I'm probably asleep or just don't want to answer your call, you know who you are. Anyways leave a message if you want and I might get back to you if I think your important enough"

I end the call with a chuckle when Katniss voicemail answers. I'm outside her house, I was going to tell her I was outside but I might as well just enter. I open her door with the key she gave me, I hear her laugh in the living room. I make my way to her living room smiling cause I finally get to see her after 3 days apart.

"Princ--" I stop my words when I see she has company Cato Hadley. Her ex.

"Morning Peeta" she says and smiles

"I should go, I'll call you Katniss" he stands up and kisses her cheeks. She nods and says goodbye "Nice seeing you Peeta"

I nod and he exits the area.

"Hello honey how are you?" She kisses my cheeks

"I'm great what about you?" I say
"Great thanks for asking" she seats down on the couch and goes to her phone

"So what was he doing here?" I try to have my hate contained

"He just came to visit me like friends do when they want to see each other" she puts emphasis on the 'friends'.

"And what were y'all talking about?" I sit down next to her, she shrugs

"Nothing important" she looks at me before going back to her phone trying in it furiously.

"If it was nothing then why would he call you after that?" My voice filled with hatred

"Don't you dare" Katniss hisses at me

"Yes I will, if its not that important tell me" I look at her stright in the eye.

"For godness sake Peeta, you haven't seen me in 3 fucking day and that's what you want to talk about" she rolls her eyes

"But if you must know he asked me if I could preform with him tomorrow at the KCA's" she says  (note- yes i know they were yesterday but this was ment to go up yesturday along with chapter nine which will be uploaded later today. So just bare with me)

"I thought his girlfriend was going to preform with him, Clove, I think thats her name" I say

"She was but one of her sisters when into labour earlier today so she had to leave, so he asked me if I could do it, I said yes" she explains

"Why?" I sight

"Because he is a friend in need, and I couldn't just say no. Why do you care anyway?" She says

"Well I'm sorry if it's bad to want to know what my girlfriend is going to do" I roll my eyes

"Whatever" she huffs

"And I wanted to ask you, if you wanted to preform with me too?" I reveal the reason.

"Do you still want me to?" She asks

"Yes" she gives me a hug

"I'll do it" she mumbles into my neck.

"Yay!" I cheer

"Aren't you nominated?" She asks

"Yeah why?" I say

"Well I got my invitation the other day and I'm going to be sitting next to you during the show" my eyes light up and she laughs atmy expression.

"Really?!'' I can't contain my feels.

"Yep" she gives me a kiss and laughs. The only bad part is that I have to take Delly as my 'plus one'.

"To bad you have to take that slut of your too" Katniss rolls her eyes.

"I love you remember" I kiss her cheeks and she smiles but hides it

"Whatever" she rolls her eyes but I can see her smile.

This was ment to go up yesterday but i have had a very busy weekend and stuff so here ya go. 👍
