Bonnie Bennett's scream echoed throughout the house. Her expression boosted through her veins, seizing and jumping at the chance to rush free. The magic bubbled in her voice, carrying out and erupting into a high pitched shriek. The sound stuck growing louder and louder like a siren. The walls shook, causing pictures and photos hanging to rumble where they hung. The floor vibrated so harshly that the phone fell from the coffee table, and hit the ground with a loud beep. The cupboards slammed open and shut, all at the same time. Glasses and windows smashed one by one and scattered all over the floor.Bonnie's attacker growled loudly in pain, and he backed away, falling to the floors. She heard him scream as he pulled at his hair, trying to distract himself from the sound. The witches scream died down, but she managed to focus on the high pitched noise and held it in place. She was somehow immune while everything and everyone else in the room suffered. Bonnie looked down, taking in a breath as she stared down at the vampire kneeling below her. His face was scarred and bruised, and his hair looked like he had dug a tunnel underneath the dirt and had crawled his way through the Earth like a worm. If it weren't for the blood slowly oozing from his ears, nose and mouth, she might have found it funny. He cried out in pain, and gripped onto her jeans. His grip was hard enough that he might have ripped them off, but she kicked him off.
"If you touch me again, I will turn your eyes into caviar," Bonnie warned, and she almost flinched
at the cruelness in her own voice.
"That's a little barbaric, don't you think?" The man managed to spit out.
Blood drizzled from his lip, and Bonnie realized that he had a large gash underneath his bottom lip.
If she looked hard enough, she could see his gum and teeth through the skin. Bonnie held back a gag and took a step to the side, looking away from the gaping wound in his chin. "Did you crawl out of Hell?" Bonnie asked, controlling the urge to vomit.
"You know," the man gasped and his eyes flashed deep red. "I would love to answer that question if you would be kind enough to stop that torturous noise."
"How do I know that you won't try and kill me again?"
"Keep this up and I will kill you," he growled again, and he put his hands over his ears. "Please! You have my word! I will not harm you!"
Bonnie stared down at him. She didn't trust him, but she could already feel herself growing weak from the expression. She cut the spell and took in a breath, feeling like everything inside her body had dropped and was plummeting down. The man sighed in relief, and he collapsed to his hands and knees as he took in deep and forced breaths. "Vampires don't need to breathe," Bonnie stated as she watched him.
"It makes us feel better," the man spat dryly, clearly not happy with what he had just gone through. He pushed himself up, gripping onto the nearby sofa for support. Bonnie raised an eyebrow, watching him carefully. She couldn't see his face past all of that blood and bruising. "What have you done to me? My insides have turned to slosh."
"Really?" She asked, slightly impressed with the result of her magic.
"I could really do with some blood."
"Get out," Bonnie's smile fell, and she pointed to the door. "I don't know who you are, and how you were invited into my house, but you're not getting just one of your disgusting fangs on my neck. You'll burn in hell before that happens."
"Oh, my apologies," Bonnie managed to make out his smirk behind the cut up lip. He moved his hand to his face, wiping the blood away.
"Oh my God," Bonnie breathed. "Kol?""That hurts."
"Stop moving then," Bonnie replied harshly and pressed the cloth harder to the side of the Original Vampire's head. "Maybe It'll hurt less."
