Twelve

Taylor's POV

I was at home waiting for that door to open and for Vic to walk through it. Alex was playing with his toys while Star Wars played on the tv. My phone buzzed indicating a text so I looked at it and saw it was from Mike.

Mikey: hey ugly we just got into SD. We'll be at the house in abut 25 :p
Me: wow some1 is being extra bitchy. Did u get ur period?
Mikey: no I ran out of whiskey :(
Me: so u call me ugly?
Mikey: I'm tired. Don't blame me
Me: was my love 4 u bulletproof and im the one who shot u?
Mikey: don't use my songs missy XD
Me: too late :p message me when ur closer to the house dumbfuck
Mikey: alright bitchhhh:)

I put my phone down and and continued my long hour of just looking out the window and looking back at Alex to see what he's up to.
Soon I saw that familiar four winds RV pull up into the driveway followed by four tired looking boys and their bags. My stomach started turning at the sight of Vic tired and still upset about Amber. It's been two and a half months but they were very close. They weren't able to take a few days off for some reason so he missed the funeral. The door bell rang and I went to get it.

"My baby" Vic swooped me into his arms and spun us around. He let go and we shared a very heated kiss.
"I missed you to fucking much" he said once we let go.
"I missed you too"
"Wow Tay. No hugs for Mikey" I heard Mike say from the living room. How did he get there without me seeing? He walked where all of us were with Alex and he handed him to Vic.
"Daddy!" He yelled. Vic squeezed his son and kissed his forehead while I hugged Mike, Tony and Jaime. Alex was passed to the boys and then they headed to the living room while I went to make coffees.

"So how was the tour" I asked setting the tray down.
"Amazing. Our next goal is warped tour and then straight up Canadian tour" Jaime said with hand gestures. I raised my eyebrows and nodded
"Busy boys" I said.
"Oh babe you know that song I showed you that wasn't finished?" Vic asked turning his body towards me. I nodded
"Well I finished it! When we start working on the new album, we're gonna put it on"
"That's amazing!"
"Another thing. I may or may not have added a small part for someone to sing. I was talking to my friend Linsey about whether or not she wanted to be on it but I thought it would be more special if the person sitting next to be would sing it" I looked past him and pointed to Jaime
"I ship it" I smiled
"No not hime! You!" He exclaimed
"I can't sing Vic" I protested
"Excuse you missy! I've heard you multiple times in high school" Mike put in
"I sound like a dying goat"
"Fuck off you're amazing" he leaned back on the couch
"Fuck off!" Alex yelled
"Alexander Vincent Fuentes" I snapped. He looked at Mike and giggled
"Michael Christopher!" Vic yelled at his younger brother
"You will be put on a damn time out" he told Mike
"Make me" he said standing up. Vic stood on the couch making him a lot taller then Mike.
"Get down" I told him. He did as told and Mike sat back down
"Little ears" I said pointing to Alex.

The boys left a few hours later and it was just us three.
"Let me see the part of the song" I was considering it now.
"Alright hold on" he got up and went to go get his lyric book and acoustic. Once he came back, he showed me how he wants me to sing it and I did before we ran through the whole song.

'This love was out of control
3-2-1 where did it go?' He sang. He strummed a bit before asking
"Ready?" I nodded and he started singing the next part of the song
'If I were you, I'd put that away
See, you're just wasted
And thinking about the past again
Darling you'll be okay
And she said'
he looked at me and I took a deep breath.
'If you were me, you'd do the same
'Cause I can't take anymore
I'll draw the shades and close the door
I'm not alright and I would rather...' I looked at Alex and he was sitting on the ground watching both of us sing our hearts out.

"See not too hard" he said placing the guitar down
"I still don't think I sound good" I said leaning back on the couch. Alex came running and jumped onto the couch and sat on Vic's lap
"I liked that song" he whispered to Vic
"I like it too bud" I heard him whisper back. I looked over at the boys. I think the reason I never stopped loving Vic was because every time I looked at Alex, I saw Vic. I looked at my boyfriend who was leaning back while Alex leaned on him. I remember the first day I met him. I didn't think he would have such a huge impact on my life.

*flashback*

Mike and I were walking home. Well to his house. In just two more weeks, it's summer vacation and once school starts again we'll be juniors.
"Hey loser" Mike said. I looked up at my tall blond friend who was looking down on me
"What ugly" I asked
"My bothers home. You don't mind right?" He said looking ahead. I followed his gaze and saw a black Honda Civic parked in the driveway. Vivian and Victor senior's cars weren't parked so my guess is that that car is his brothers. I shook my head
"If anything this is a shock" he chuckled. Mike and I have been friends for almost three years and I've never had a full on conversation with his older brother before. I've seen him in the halls and in the living room at their house but other then a 'hi' we've never spoken.

We entered the house and the sound of electric guitar playing downstairs made me look up at Mike
"That's my brother. Don't mind him he's been practice for his band or whatever"
"I thought you guys were going to start a band together after you graduated?" I questioned
"Yeah but things changed. He found three other guys who are his age and I guess he doesn't wanna hang around his fag of a brother" he shrugged taking off his shoes
"You're not a fag Mikey" he looked at me and smiled before walking to the kitchen. I took my grey toms off before jumping on his back.
"Jesus" he muttered.

"Taylor get off me!" he yelled running around. I just laughed and held on tighter
"Nope"
"What the hell. Can you guys stop being so damn loud I can barely hear the guitar" I heard a voice that sounded much like Mike's say. He turned around and we faced a guy who was much shorter than Mike but taller her than me wearing loose denim jeans and a white Tommy Hilfiger t-shirt. His hair was covered by a SnapBack but it was long and straight
"Oh. I thought you were one of Mike's friends" he said
"Well she is Vic" Mike stated. So this is Vic
"Hi" I said getting off Mike
"I'm Vic"
"I'm Tay"
"Ler" we both looked at him
"Taylor but she hates it so I call her Tay" Mike corrected. I looked back at vic who was nodding.

"What were you playing?" I asked
"It was a cover of a song from a band called Blink 182. Do you know them?" I smiled and nodded
"I love them. They're one of my favourite bands"
"So you know the song dammit?" I nodded
"That's what I was covering"
"Alright alright. She's my best friend not yours. Go do your homework" Mike said pushing his brother towards the stairs
"I have last period spare so I came home early and finished it. If anything you need to do yours" he sassed back
"Whatever just leave us alone" Mike said
"It was nice actually meeting you Tay" I smiled at Vic
"Same goes" and then he walked up stairs

*end of flashback*

"What are you smiling about?" Vic asked bringing me out of my train of thought.
"The first time we actually spoke" I said looking at him. I noticed Alex was no longer in his arms but sitting at his toy table playing with his wrestlers.
"I remember that day. That was the day my life changed" he said pulling me closer to him. I rested my head on his shoulder and smiled
"Remember when Mike found out we were dating?" I asked looking up at him
"I wish I caught his reaction on camera" he said chuckling.

Kinda a sucky chapter but I wanted Vic to be home already!
So for the song, I imagined him and Jenna from Tonight Alive singing it.
I have so much planned out for this story omg so be prepared.
