Thirty one

Taylor's POV

Everyone came in and we basically played hot potato with Sky. Vic and I got compliments about how she's beautiful or how she's gonna grow up to look like me but be a total daddy's little girl. Mike was sitting in the chair on my left holding Skylar again while everyone was talking. He looked so amused by the tiny human in his arms, it was so cute.
As we were all enjoying the family moment, a nurse came in a kicked everyone out because visiting hours were now over. We played another round of hot potato with our daughter and my parents came up to me giving me a kiss and leaving. Everyone said goodbye too and it was just Vic and Alex who had to leave now as well.
"Bye bye Skylar. I love you" Alex said kissing his sisters head. He then kissed my cheek and Vic did the same.
"Bye baby girl. Take care of our baby girl" he said. I smiled at him and we kissed once more before he left. It was just me and my daughter now who was fast asleep. First habit she got from her father is she's a heavy sleeper.

I placed her in the crib and grabbed my phone since it kept going off since we announced Skylars birth on Vic's Instagram and Twitter accounts. Many fans were congratulating us and wanted a photo of her because the photo Vic posted was of him holding her but you barely saw Sky's face. Everyone had posted photos of either them holding her or Vic or me holding her but I haven't yet because I had my phone away from me so I decided to post the photo Vic took of me looking down at her smiling.

I set my phone down and turned off the lamp before falling asleep after this hectic fucking day. But I have to say, if it brought my baby girl to the world, it was worth every second.

The week had gone by pretty quickly. I had stayed with Skylar in the hospital and Vic visited us while Alex was at school then brought him here for a few hours. Yesterday Vic brought pair of black tights, baggy t-shirt and flip flops for me and for Skylar he let Alex pick out a pink onesie that says 'daddy's little monster' he also brought her a blanket and her car seat.
As I was packing everything up, my two boys came in and Alex sat on my bed. I zipped up the bag and then took Sky out of her crib type thing and placed her in the car seat. I took the bag and Alex's hand and Vic took the car seat since apparently I can't lift things for a few weeks. We signed out and headed to the parking lot.

"Thank god you have a brain and brought the car" I said opening the trunk.
"Well I may be stupid but I'm not an idiot" he said ducking his head to hook up the car seat. I opened Alex's door and he got in buckling himself up and I got in the back as well. Vic for in the front and drove home.
When we got there, we all got out and I grabbed the bag from the trunk and Vic took Skylar in her car seat inside. Alex ran to the front door and waited for me to get there. I unlocked it and walked in to find Mike sitting on the couch watching something.
"Seriously dude?" Vic asked once he got inside. Mike paused the movie and looked at us.
"Oh. Welcome home"
"This is my house dumbass" he said bending down to take our daughter out and hold her. He handed her to me before going to warm up a bottle. I sat beside Mikey and ales sat on the other couch watching what was now the Lego movie.
"There's my pretty little niece" he cooed to the crying baby who was hungry.
"She doesn't want you. She's hungry" he held out his hands and I gave him her. Vic came in and tested the bottle on his wrist before giving it to his brother.
"How do babies like it like this? It's basically cold" he said sitting beside Alex.
"To them it's nice and warm" I stated.
"Oh by the way I invited everyone to come over. Mom and dad and your parents included" Mike said giving Skylar her bottle. There so was response so he looked back up at us.
"What?" He asked.
"It's creepy how you said that just before I asked if anyone is coming over" Vic said.
"Well we are brothers" Vic smiled and shook his head.
It felt good to be home. Our small family was complete.
