Taylor's POV

"Are you sure you have everything?we could go back and check" Alysha asked me and I nodded
"I'm positive" today was the day Alex and I were heading back home to Michigan. After a month here in the beautiful and sunny San Diego, it was sadly time to go back. I visited my parents with Alex yesterday and we spoke about a bunch of random shit. They said that we have to come back soon or they're coming to get me. Typical Portuguese parents. They can't stay away from their child for too long.
The boys were running around the air port chasing Alex and making him laugh because this morning when I told him we were leaving, he started to cry because he didn't want to leave his daddy or uncle Mike.
"Fuck I'm gonna miss you so much!" She screamed pulling me in for a hug. I hugged back
"I'm gonna miss you too babes" we may have only known each other for a short period of time but she's become one of my closest friends.

"Flight 267 to Detroit Michigan is now boarding" some lady called over the Intercom.
"Alex come on baby" I said. Soon the crazy three year old came running to me so I picked him up
"Ready?" He shook his head
"But we gotta go"
"No! I don't wanna leave" he screamed at me.
"Alex it's okay I promise we'll see each other very soon. Until then I'll FaceTime every night okay bud" Vic said coming up to us. He looked at his father and nodded. Mike took him so Vic and I could say our final goodbye.

"Well" I started
"You can't leave" he said bringing me closer to him
"I have to though. I'll come visit soon. Alex can't live without his father now and I can't live without you" I said. Vic and I weren't official but we were getting there.
"You'll call everyday right? And message me?" I nodded
"Good. And I'll FaceTime you guys every night" he said. We pulled away we kissed once more.

"Last call for Flight 267 to Detroit Michigan" the lady said.
"Go. You don't wanna miss your flight" Vic said. I walked over to Tony and Jaime and gave them hugs before going to Mike and taking my kid before giving him a hug.
"I wanna hear from you every fucking day understand missy?" He said. I nodded and he kissed my temple
"I'm gonna miss you Mikey"
"Trust me. I'm gonna miss you too" he said. We pulled away and I walked over to Alysha giving her one more hug. Finally was Vic, again. Us three hugged and Vic kissed both mine and Alex's foreheads before I left.

"I want to stay here" Alex pouted as I strapped him into his booster seat in the plane
"Baby we'll come back" I said. He crossed his arms over his chest and hung his lead low. I put my seat belt on and took out two of his Star Wars toys from my purse. I handed them to him and took off his black and yellow key street SnapBack. His curly hair now falling freely framing his little face.
I took my phone out from my purse and saw a message.

Vic <3: I miss you guys already. This is gonna be hard :/
Me: I promise I'll come back soon.

I put my phone away before we took off.

After a long flight, we were finally landed. I unbuckled my sleeping three year old and picked up my purse and him before getting off. I got to the luggage claim when Alex woke up so I placed him down before grabbing our bags. Alex wanted to be a big boy and roll his luggage so since it's not as big as mine I lifted the thingy and let him roll it while I rolled mine and the black duffle bag.

We got into the parking lot and saw my best friend in the entire world Annabella there with her black Dodge Charger. We packed up and I then buckled in my little one before getting into the front seat with Ana driving.
"So how was it?" She asked
"Best month ever" I replied honestly
"Like. I thought it was gonna he terrible because he found out and I would wanna come back asap but it was honestly amazing" I added.
"That's good" me and Ana are close. Since we're just 2 months apart, it's made our bond better. The reason I moved out here to Michigan is because she lives here with her fiancé. We actually live in the same apartment building. I'm on the 6th floor and she's on the 3rd. Ana knows about everything with Vic and thankfully she never spilled anything to people.

"How's the month without your dear sister been" I asked knowing her answer. We aren't sisters but we get mistaken as sisters. We've been best friends since we were in the 3rd grade and since im an only child and she has a younger brother who's 22, we never got the actual sister-sister bond.
"Heaven"
"Nah when I'm around I make it heaven" I said in a duh tone
"For Sure. More like hell above me when you're around" she said taking a quick look at me
"Shut up you love me" I said looking at her
"I do love you but sometimes you're like Santin" she replied causing me to laugh

Once we got there, Ana carried Alex's bag and the black one while I carried mine and Alex.
We got up to my floor and we walked down the hall to my door. Once we got there I unlocked it and we walked in.
I opened Alex's bag to take out some things when I saw a certain hat.
"Alexander" I said. Both Ana and Alex looked at me
"Why is uncle Mike's hat in here?"
"I liked it" he responded making Ana laugh.
"You don't just take it though"
"Oh well" and he went back to playing with his toys.
"He clearly has the sass from both of you" Ana said. I agreed with a smile.

It was around 5 when Ana left. I made Alex and I chicken nuggets and fries so right now we were eating at the table. Well I was, Alex was playing with his nuggets.
My phone started to ring signalling a FaceTime call. I went to go get it to see Vic's contact so I answered

"How's my favourite people doing?" He cooed
"Daddy!" Alex yelled making a smile appear on his face. Alex came over and sat on my lap
"Look" he shows Vic the chicken nugget in his hand
"Can I eat it?" Vic asked
"No. This is miiiiiine" and he put it in his mouth
"Don't be a meanie. You have to share" Vic pouted crossing his arms over his chest. What a child
"Make your own" he said with his mouth full.
"Mike! Make me food!" Vic screamed
"No fuck you" I heard Mike more clearly
"Little ears guys" I said. Mike looked into Vic's phone and smiled. He had made himself a sandwich and sat down beside his older brother.
"Fat ass won't make me food. I'll be right back" Vic said handing his phone to Mike before going to make himself food.
"Someone needs a tampon for his mangina" Mike mumbled taking another bit.
"Do you like my daddy uncle Mike?" Alex asked. Mike looked at the phone and swallowed his food before smiling at him
"Of course I love him. He's my brother. My best friend buddy. We fight as a joke sometimes but we still love each other" he told his nephew. Alex smiled and took another nugget.
"I'm baaaack" Vic said taking his phone and sitting down.
"Daddy?" Alex asked
"Yeah?"
"Are you gonna live with us now?" Vic looked at me and I did the same.
"Uh. Maybe bud. If we don't I promise we'll still see each other" I smiled at Vic.
"Mommy I'm full" Alex said looking up at me.
"Okay baby go play"
"Okay. Bye daddy I love you"
"I love you too bud. I'll see you soon" Vic said. Alex got off my lap and ran to the living room.
"How does it feel to be back home?" Vic asked
"Feels amazing" I smiled
"That's good. I know you only left this morning but I already miss you" he said
"We miss you too"
"Hime stop!" I heard Tony yell Vic turned his head and I saw his eyes widen
"Hey I gotta go. I'll call you tomorrow"
"Bye" and he hung up. I placed my phone down and just sat there for a bit thinking.
How is Alex's life gonna change now that Vic is in it or will it change at all. With Vic care enough to spend more time with his kid? Should I move back to San Diego?

Vic's POV

After I helped the boys bring a drunk Jaime to his room, I went to mine and just fell onto my bed thinking.
Will Taylor come back to San Diego? Would I be able to spend more time with Alex? Am I gonna be able to balance the band and my family? I miss Tay and I can't stop thinking about her. And my son. I just wish she fucking came back and stayed in her hometown.
