I lay back so confused. I hate she walked out I should go by her house to check on her. I get dressed in a brown and white Aero shirt jeans and black shoes. I walk out and see Carmen's room door open. I walk in to see my brother sitting on the bed holding a picture. 

"She so big now" he say admiring the picture he knew about every thing the incident and about Carmen. 

"Yeah she is hey you want to go see her"I say to him his eye brighten up. 

"Yeah where is she" He asks. 

"With Leo and Anna" I say. 

"They back in town" he asks. 

"Yeah she wanted to be with them" I lie I wasn't ready to tell him I was still in the game. 

"Aight but first can we go shopping a nigga need some new gear" he says smiling. 

"Yeah let's go" I say yeah its late but oh well. I'll go check on Yani after. We pull up at the mall I'm not sure where my brother got money from but he said he had it when I offered to buy. He was a little insulted but he will be okay.  

By the time we were done it was like 11 at night I hope they aren't sleep. We pull up at the Leos place. My brother is wearing a black shirt grey jeans and black shoes. His hair is out of braids and in a snap back.He must of took his braids out and washed his hair at my house because his hair was wet. I mean not dripping but wet. I knock on the door Anna open and her face light up when she sees Ryan. 

"Ryan honey hi how are you we missed you" she says hugging my brother. 

"I'm good mama Annie glad to be free how are you" he says. It been a while since I said Mama Annie. I walk in and Carmen runs to me. 

"Mommy mommy mommy!!" she exclaims and I crouch down to catch her when she jumps. 

"Hey lady C" I say and kiss her on the cheek.  

"Some bodies here to see you" I say. I carry her over to Ryan. She hides her face in my hair again.  

"You remember me?"Ryan ask. She looks at him. 

"Its okay" I say. She touches his face and giggles. 

"Uncle Ryan" she says and reaches for me. 

"She remembers me" he confirms. 

"How could she not" I say. I see his eyes soften and sadden a little. 

"You wanna see Bella don't you" I say. Bella is his daughter. He nods. I know Bella is staying with her grandmother. His baby momma gave up her parental rights I was glad too. I drive to Bella's grandmother's house. Grandma Jon is what she goes as. I pull up I get out too I haven't seen Bella in a while. We knock and grandma Jon answers. 

"Oh Ryan your out she has miss you and Zoey you look beautiful" she says pinching my cheek I blush something I only down around Yani at times. 

"Hey grandma Jon where's my baby girl" he asks.

When Zoey's daughter stared at me it hurt a litte I felt like she didn't know me. Once she called me name and reached for me it felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders. I missed my little girl I got arrested when she was 3 I've been locked up for 3 years now she should be six. I was scared she wouldn't remember me and if she didn't it would hurt like a motherfucker. I was kind of curious why Carmen was staying with Leo and Anna when she had her own room at Zoeys house. but I don't question it. I walk in Grandma Jon's house it always smelled like apples and cinnamon in here.
