I call Gina.

"Hey sexy" she answers.

"Hey you coming to my place tonight" I ask.

"I wish I could but I got some things to do baby I promise I'll kick it witchu tomorrow okay"

"Awwh okay I miss you " I lie in actuality I'm happy as hell

" I miss you to but you know I got to handle mine but I got you" she says. we talk for a little while then she says she got to go. I'm use to it. I then realize I don't know what Gina does for a living but I'm scared to ask. I call up Zoey she says she is home and for me to come over. Good. I call Mia and ask her to be my cover just in case Gina called. She agreed I heard Cassidy in the background talking about some whip cream. "nasty asses" I think laughing. I get in the shower when I get out I pack a overnight bag. I stop and look at my nude body in the mirror. I had a good shape but I still didn't like my body. I push away from the mirror and get dressed. I decide to wear jeans and a blue tee shirt. Simple but sexy. I liked blue it went with my skin complexion. I would of wore a skirt but Carmen was there and I didn't want to show off to much.

I get in the car. To be honest I don't really expect sex I just like the feeling of being in her arms. but if sex came so be it. I pull up to her place. Damn it was nice. How does she afford this place on her bartender salary? What is with me and questioning things today. I just push it away. I knock on her door. I hear Carmen footsteps and her calling my name. She was adorable. She made a nickname for me apparently its Ya Ya. Zoey opens the door. She has a light in her face. I like it almost like she is glowing and her eyes are soft she was always like this with Carmen. But around Gina I saw hard icy green eyes. I wonder why. I just shrugged it off. I enter her house and it smells like cookies

"Oh it smells good in here" I say. I look down and see Carmen lifting her arms up so I can pick her up. She has chocolate all over her little cheeks.

"Mommy made cookies and chicken and macaroni and corn it taste good" she says. Her little eyes energetic.

"Really now well mommy I want a cookie too" I say playfully pouting.

"Tell her what I told you" Zoey says.

"You have to eat all your food then you get cookies" she says pointing at me.

"Yes ma'am" I say giving her a salute.

"Carmen baby go back and watch cartoons mommy got to talk to Ms.Yani" Zoey tells Carmen who hops out my arms and runs to the living room.

"You know she gonna be up all night right" I point out.

"Nah she will wear out soon" she says. She pulls me close to me and wraps her arms around my waist. She kisses me lightly.

"What was that for" I ask.

"No reason just wanted to taste ya lips" she says.

"Okay" I kissed her back. I nuzzled my neck in her shoulder and she strokes my hair. I love this side of her she soft and sweet around her daughter.

"I'm hungry and that fried chicken smells good so ima fix my plate" I say and I'm being straight up. She knew how to cook too.

"I got you go sit in there with Carmen" she says. I nod. Never has Gina offered to fix me my plate.

I walk over to Carmen who is watching My little pony.

"Ya ya come sit with me" she says patting the floor that is sheet cover I guess so Carmen won't make a mess up the floor. I sit next to her a plate of cookies sit there.I just laugh you would never expect Zoey to be the cookie baking type. Carmen gives me a cookie.

"Shh don't tell mommy" she says. She gives me a hug.

"I won't if you wont" I sat.

"Deal" she says and gives me a handshake.

"Here ya go beautiful" she says. I look at the plate this girl is trying to get my fat I swear. I just laugh and take the plate. Must I say I fell in love with her fried chicken tho. Shockingly I finish all of it. I pick up the plate and go to the kitchen. My mind goes to the first time she came to my house a sad look went over her face only on hallways and without thinking I ask

"Hey Zoe I noticed when you come to my place in the hallways you get a sad look on your face why?" instantly regretting it.

I'm sitting down with Carmen and Yani comes in and asks me.

"Hey Zoe I noticed when you come to my place in my hallways you get a sad look why" she looks like she wanted to take it back. I look at her for a minute

"I grew up in those apartments" I say strangely.

"Oh you miss it?" she ask

"Not at all my childhood wasn't really.....typical or good" I say. Funny how I'm opening up to her. She walks over and lays next to me on the couch and faces me. I wrap my arms around her.I haven't cuddled with a girl in a long ass time but it felt right with Yani. Damn what is with me today. I think.

"Why not?"she says.

"I will tell you when Carmen goes to sleep" I say. I don't know why I said that but I feel like I want to tell her. I look into her hazel eyes and a warm feeling spreads through me. Fuck I hope this isn't what I think it is. But even if it is She is good with Carmen she sweet she loving caring energetic her eyes are beautiful her touch makes me forget. She leans in and kisses me and that makes my heartbeat faster.Dammit this wasn't suppose to happen.
